--Ezra's POV--

Two weeks later.. ...

Jacob's been living with Fortune, Nola, and I for over a week now. The weeks been rough for him. First Jason and Josiah gang up on him again about our father. Then Henrik breaks up with him.

Fortune and I have been doing anything and everything we can to cheer him up, but it always fails. He's really starting to worry me. There's nothing worse than seeing someone that you love so heartbroken. It's starting to become a trend lately, heartbreak.

"Babe, I don't have to leave if you don't want me to. I'll just reschedule," Fortune tells me as he sits next to me on the back deck of our house.

"Last time you tried to reschedule something the project got dropped, remember?" I ask him and he nods. "You lost out on a lot of money from that Fortune. I don't want you to ruin your reputation."

"Yea, I understand. I'm just worried. Not just about you, but Jacob. He's in a bad place right now."

Fortune has caught Jacob breaking down multiple times in the last week. He even walked in on him trying to hurt himself. Thankfully he walked in.

"Keep a close eye on him Ezra," Fortune says.

I nod my head and get up from my seat to sit on his lap.

"I will. I promise," I tell him before placing a quick kiss on his delicious lips.

"I love you."

"I love you too Cookie."

"Seriously? Still with the name?" Fortune questions as he rolls his eyes.

"Uh yea! It's MY name for you. You're my Cookie," I tell him.

"Ezra, you should start coming with me on my trips," Fortune tells me after kissing me again.

"I wish, but I don't want to leave London. What if my dad gets worse or one of my brothers gets hurt? I don't want to be far away."

"I know, but you can't limit your life, because of things that might not happen."

I nod as I rest my forehead against his.

"Besides, I'm taking Jacob to see our dad the day you leave," I tell him as I rest my head on his shoulder.

"Your idea?"

"Yea. I thought I'd be good for the both of them."

"Hopefully," Fortune says before pushing me of of him. "I need to finish packing."

--Jacob's POV--

Henrik got angry with me when I told him that I was moving in with Ezra and Fortune instead of with him. He yelled at me for two hours before he broke up with me. Apparently I have issues that I need to work out, he said.

He was never understanding when my father went into rehab. He told me that I shouldn't be so upset over it. That it was my fathers selfish choice. Just like my brothers, he said that I should forget him.

Honestly I should've broke up with him then, but I loved him. I still love him. I just wish he was more understanding.

Fortune and Ezra have been more than supportive. They try to comfort me whenever needed. They've both had to convince me several times not to end my life.

I don't think I could ever, end my life. At times I want to, but I just can't. I just like to think that life will get better.

I was about to get ready for bed when Henrik sent me a text,

Henrik: Do you love me?
Me: yes? Why?
Henrik: I need to see you.
Henrik: now.
Me: Then come over.
Henrik: No, come here.

After debating with myself I finally get in my car and drive to Henrik's apartment. He lives in Fortune's old apartment building. Apparently we've passed each other a few times before we officially met.

Without knocking I walk into his apartment. All the lights are off.

"Henrik?" I question a I search for the light switch.

When I finally find it and turn it on I notice all the empty alcohol bottles on the counter by the sink. I sigh as I walk over towards them. Henrik has developed an alcohol problem over the last three months. I've tried talking to him about it, but he just shuts me out and gets angry with me.

I start to rinse the bottles out and place them in he recycle bin under the sink.

"Henrik?" I question again as I start down the hallway toward his room.

His bedroom door is open. The lights are off, so I search for the light switch as I enter the room. When I turn them on I take a few steps more into the room. I hear a creak behind me, so I turn around. As soon as I turned around everything turned black.
