"Well, I don't know where it is, Jin." You shoved Jimin's bag into his shelf but kicking it. "Is she crying over it?"
"Yep."
"I can ask Tae? He was over that night." Jin thanked you but didn't hang up. You waited as you stuffed books into your bag, holding your phone up to your ear with your shoulder. "Have you checked my room? She slept with me Saturday."
"Your room?" You pouted as Moon's crying got worse as your brother headed into your room. Poor baby had lost her stuffed animal. "Nope."
"Under the bed?" You felt two arms go around your waist and almost groaned before realizing Jin was on the phone. Yelling at Jimin would have to wait.
"Nothing under the bed but--" a pause, "my graduation sweater? Why the hell do you have this?"
"Oh, so that's where it went." Jin sighed and you could hear him whip the dust off of it. "Try my bathroom?"
A few more moments. The arms around you loosened their grip a little. "Hey-- it's in your closet."
"Is it?" The faraway crying began to stop. "There you go."
"It was in your laundry basket-- oh my god, finally." You laughed a little and Jin sighed. "Time to feed her breakfast then-- I'll let you get back to class."
"Class doesn't start for another fifteen minutes, but I'll get going." You zipped your bag shut.
"Alright, I'll see you after school." You yawned. "Tell Moon I love you for me."
"Will do."
Jin hung up and you finally shut your locker, reaching down to pull away the hands that were strung around you. Only they were larger than you were expecting. Longer fingers, veinier--
"Tae-- what happened?" You turned and he dropped his head onto your shoulder. You put a hand to his back. "What happened-- hey, hello, good morning?"
"Hi."
"What happened?" You pulled him away by the shoulders to find his eyes red and puffy. "Taehyung? Are you crying?"
"No."
"What's going on?" You looked around.
"Can I borrow your locker?" You stared at him. "For, um, the rest of the year." You glanced back at your locker.
"Why? What happened to yours and t/gf's?" He squeezed his eyes shut. "Tae?"
"Shebrokeupwithme." You leaned in, having missed what he said.
"What?"
"She," he sighed, rubbing his face, "broke up with me." You stared at him for a second. "On Friday-- she, she-- remember, you came back to Moo--Moon from the game and I left be-- because she called me and she-- she--"
"Okay, hold on." You looked around to see if anyone was present. The hallways were just starting to fill up "She broke up with you?" He nodded and let out a long sigh. "On Friday?"
"Yep."
"So why are you just telling me now?" You gave him a hug and squeezed. "I would've come over-- Joon would've too."
"Hyung was probably busy with his speech and besides, I was crying by myself anyway." You frowned and squeezed your best friend. He sniffled. "It's fine."
"Did she say why?" He shrugged. "No?"
"She said she has," he cleared his throat a little, "a lot on her plate right now."
"But you've been together for years, Tae."
"She's watching her grandma right now, remember? With her parents away." You nodded slowly. "So she-- she, yeah, doesn't really have time for me."
