"I still think we should go on a road trip, guys."

"We have," Tae held up fingers, "the dance on Friday, the robotics tournament on Saturday, hyung's prom next Friday and then hyung's graduation the week after that." You nodded.

"When did you want to go on a road trip, y/n?" Joon asked, mouth full. You sighed.

"I don't know! I just wanna spend time with you before you go, Joonie." He gave you a smile.

"I leave in August."

"It's almost the end of June-- that's less than--"

"Hey, we can't go before school ends," Tae pointed out. "We have exams next week."

"How many do you two have?" You and Tae both held up four fingers and Namjoon nodded. "I only have two-- maybe we can go on the first week of summer then." He pulled out his agenda and glanced at his calendar.

"You free for us, hyung?" Joon smiled and nodded.

"The first week of summer it is then!" You clapped your hands, excited. "Now we just need to get through the dance and exams."

"And prom and graduation for me," Joon sighed. "Do you guys want to hear my speech again?"

"Hyung, I'm pretty sure I have your speech memorized by now," Tae whined. Namjoon smiled, pulling out the flashcards he'd ended up with. That was all he needed now. "I can't believe you practically memorized the whole thing."

"I've been practicing a lot and I guess it stuck," he said with a sigh, neatly hitting his card deck against your lunch table. You smiled and leaned in, chin in your palms.

"Go for it, Joon-- we'll listen to you practice." Namjoon smiled gratefully and cleared his throat.

"Wait! Before we begin." Tae gulped and leaned in. "I talked to t/ex."

You looked over at him. "Yeah?" He nodded. "What'd she say?"

"Nothing-- she just asked how I was doing and stuff." He smiled and nodded to himself, playing with his fingers in his lap and looking down at them to hide the glint in his eyes. "I can't wait for our break to be over-- to get back together."

You frowned, staring at him. "Tae--"

"Baby!" You sighed as Jimin sang his way across the cafeteria to you. "Baby!"

Jimin sat down next to you and you groaned. "What?"

"Nothing, I came to say hello to my baby girl." He pressed a kiss to your cheek and turned to your two friends. He glanced at Namjoon's stack of flashcards and raised his eyebrows. "Practicing for your speech, hyung?"

"Yeah-- it's been approved by the principal so I'm just rehearsing now." Jimin nodded and Namjoon cleared his throat. Jimin pulled you into his lap and you sighed as jm/ex approached.

"Excuse me."

You looked up and smiled. "You've been excused." Jimin chuckled into your ear and you smiled at Taehyung. His eyebrows raised a little as he grinned at you.

"I need to talk to Jiminie," she said with a roll of her eyes. You looked back at Jimin who had his chin resting against your shoulder. He shrugged.

"Kinda busy right now." You giggled a little and leaned further into him.

"I need to talk to you." He looked at her and gestured to your table.

"I'm doing something right now-- don't be rude."

"My-- my dad's offering you your job back!" she blurted. Jimin's eyebrows raised.

"Is he?" She nodded and you watched their exchange happen.
