"Are you sure?"

"It's okay, Tae, I don't mind." You sighed and pulled your things out of your bag. "Where did you want to go?"

"Anywhere's okay." You smiled and took his arm, holding him by the elbow as you walked away from your locker.

"Shall we go get ice cream?" He shrugged and you pulled your best friend out of the school through one of the side entrances. "Hm?"

Taehyung didn't respond as you skipped down the sidewalk together. He'd asked if you'd skip second period with him and that alone was a shock. Tae wasn't the type to decide to skip. That was all you. He just tagged along. So for him to want to skip on his end?

"Did something happen?" He shrugged and shoved his hands in his pockets.

"I just don't feel well I guess," he said with a small nod of his head. He sighed and looked up at the sky. "We had a meeting this morning."

"For robotics?"

"Mhm."

"How are those missions going?" He shrugged.

"Pretty good, actually." You smiled. "I think we're on our way to completing the missions but I'm not entirely sure yet."

"You'll be okay."

You walked in silence for a moment and knew better than to interrupt him in his headspace. You were just glad this wasn't about t/ex, frankly. When you crossed the street and entered the ice cream shop, you tugged him to the counter.

"Want me to order?" He shook his head and pulled out his wallet and recited the flavours you both wanted. While you waited, you stepped close to him. "You wanna know something funny?"

He looked down at you. "Hm?"

"Joon used a joke at the end of his speech." Tae's eyebrows raised. "It's horrendous-- I can't wait for you to hear it."

"Oh no, hyung." You laughed and took your ice cream. Walking out of the shop, you were glad to have him smiling a little as he licked the tiniest bits of ice cream on his spoon.

"What should we do now?"

"Can we go to the robotics room?" Your eyebrows raised.

"We could get caught." He shrugged and you smiled. "Wow, Tae, you're taking so many steps forward now tha--"

You paused and smile to see Jungkook crossing the street in your direction. His eyes were wide with fear as he looked around the empty street. "Noona!"

"Hey, Kook-- you're back." You laughed as he threw his arms around you. When he pulled away, he turned to Taehyung and nodded a bit. "Have you two formally met? Tae, this is Jungkook-- Koo, this is Taehyung."

"Hi, hyung." Taehyung smiled and nodded. "Ar-- Are you guys ski--skipping class?"

"Yeah, only second period though," Taehyung sighed.

"Are you?" you asked. Jungkook tensed at your question. "Jungkook we aren't going to tell on you."

"This is so scary," he whispered as you headed towards the school. Taehyng had given up his ice cream to your junior and he was shoving it down his throat.

"Skipping isn't scary-- why are you doing it anyway?" Tae asked. Jungkook let out a long sigh.

"Jimin hyung said that if I skipped one time this week, he'd take me to see the weed some of the other hyungs on the team are always smoking." Taehyung's eyes widened.
