"Oh no, noona, please don't cry." You turned back to Jungkook, looking away from them. "Noona!"
"Why am I even crying, Jungkook?" You tried to laugh through your tears as he wrapped his arms around you in another hug. He pulled your face into his chest and you sobbed, ruining his suit with your makeup.
"Noona, don't cry. Let's go to the bathroom, okay? I'll take you to the bathroom."
"No, I'm fine, Jungkook."
"Noona-- come, let's go."
"I'm fine, Jungkook." You pulled away from Koo's hold and he looked down at you with concerned eyes. You hiccuped as you wiped at your eyes.
"I'm sorry, noona."
"Not your fault." You looked around to see people staring at you and you heard someone say that Jimin and jm/ex had left the gym. You looked around for him and, indeed, he'd left with her.
Your heart broke.
Why was this happening?
"Let's go to Namjoon hyung, okay? He'll know what to do." You nodded and Jungkook took your hand and walked you away. Hoseok was already down from the booth to ask if you were okay. Namjoon was just coming in from disposing of the punch.
"Y/N. Are-- are you okay?" Hobi asked. You nodded and put a smile on your face as Namjoon jogged over.
"Hey, what's going on? Jimin's outside with--" Jungkook shut him up with a palm over his hyung's mouth. You glanced at the door and your eyes watered again.
"You have to take noona home, hyung! I would take her home but I don't know where her house is and I don't want to get us lost and--"
"I can't leave, Jungkookie, I have to help clean up afterwards," Namjoon grumbled, scratchng the back of his head. "Hoseok needs to stay as well-- finish with music and pack up all of this equipment." Hoseok nodded and rubbed your back as your makeup streamed down your face.
"I can try to take you home, noona-- we can walk slowly."
"I--it's okay, Koo." You sighed and wiped at your face one last time. "I don't even know why I'm crying. I don't even care."
"Of course you care! You like hyung and he was-- that was-- that was not good." You shut your eyes. "He shouldn't-- he should not have done that at all."
"You have no idea what our relationship was like, Kook. I don't care."
Hoseok grabbed your arm. "Was Jimin-- was Jimin abusive?" he asked, quickly concerned.
Namjoon's eyebrows furrowed up. "Was he, y/n?"
"No, no-- god, no." You shook your head, wishing you could explain it all. "Where's Tae?" Hoseok tilted his head toward the door.
"He ran off to the library? Something about a robot." You laughed, shaking your head as tears fell freely from your eyes.
"I'll take you, noona."
You nodded and Namjoon pulled you in for a hug. "Do you want to wait for me? I can walk you home after the dance is over."
"I could as well-- I could give you both a ride home?" Hoseok offered.
You shook your head. "I'll ask Tae to take me home now," you whispered. "I don't feel well." The three boys sighed as they watched you fiddle with your fingers. "I guess I just didn't expect for him to kiss her so soon. In front of everyone."
"Well--"
"I'm just embarrassed," you whispered. "Yeah-- I'm just embarrassed that my stupid fucking boyfriend kissed his ex in front of me and in front of a hundred other people." Jungkook tugged on your hand. "We haven't even broken up yet-- publicly."
