Anishka's POV
I woke up to the alarm and got ready for school into this:
"Mom, good morning!! I'm ready and yeah I wanted to ask something" I ran down the stairs.
"Good morning, sweetie!! Ask away" She handed me my breakfast.
"Now, that dad became the richest person of California, so we're gonna have a party for that, right?" I asked stuffing the breakfast in my mouth.
"Yeah! And I know, your next question. So, we're having the party tomorrow itself. You can invite the boys as well! I'll personally go and invite Myta. Now, let's get going before you get late!" She took the keys from the key holder and I was able to finish the breakfast because it was mango milkshake.
We got out and were about to leave when we saw Zach and my mom thought it would be best if we offered him a ride to school.
He got in and thanked mom.
"Good morning to you too" I said in a monotone voice.
"Is it really necessary for taunting right now?" He turned his face to me.
"Is it really necessary to sound so boring this fresh morning?" I retorted back.
"fresh morning" He scoffed.
"Someone is in a mood" I sang.
"Who?" He flips faster than we flip pages..
"No one! My ghost!" I sarcastically replied.
"And here I thought you found the morning fresh" He scoffed.
"Are you a chameleon?" I asked him.
"What do you mean?" Is he serious?
"Not even a minute ago you were being so snappy and now you're acting like nothing's wrong. your mood swings are worse than a pregnant lady" I muttered the last part under my breath.
"Excuse me?... Never mind, I don't even wanna argue about that. So, Sorry!"
I just scoffed and turned away facing the window.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw mom smiling at us through the mirror. I don't know why though...
"We're here kids! Have a great day!" Mom stopped the car in front of the school gate.
"Same to you" We chorused scaring even ourselves which led to us narrowing our eyes at each other.
"Byes kids!" She giggled and drove away.
I saw a figure approaching us. And they came near I was able to figure out that it was Corbyn.
"Hey guys! How are you Ana?" He slung his arm around my shoulder. And it obviously made me giggle insides out of nervousness.
