This story is about a not-so-ordinary girl, Anishka. See how she goes through a roller coaster life with the love of her life.
"Hey Zach, I'll just get changed and then we can go to Dani's okay?" She asked
"Yeah sure"
I was sitting in her room right now. I wished her birthday at exact 12 in midnight. Everyone wished her in the school and right now we're about to go to Daniel's for her birthday lunch. She doesn't know that we're going for lunch. After a while. I heard the closet door open.
"I'm ready!"
"Wow! you look amazing love!" I admired her.
"No offense but I don't understand" She said.
"Understand?"
"It's not like we're official or anything but still you call me those couple's nicknames? Why?" She asked. I was taken aback by those words.
Yeah, I know we're not official but I've always considered her my girlfriend ever since we said 'I like you' s to each other.
"Oh..umm, I just like calling you that. It's not like we don't have a thing for each other" I played it off. She blushed. Oh I love it when she does that!
"Uhh, yeah. Nevermind" she rolled her eyes playfully.
"So let's get going"
**Time skip**
"Thank you guys! It was amazing! Personally I think, my best birthday ever" she thanked us. I'm about to take her to our "date".
"I don't understand... You didn't do this with your old friends?" Eben asked.
"To be honest, I never had true friends like you guys so I never got to celebrate it really"
"Well, now that you have us..." Diva said walking upto her and hugging her. Slowly everyone started joining the hug and soon it turned into a group hug. I just stood there letting them have their moment.
"Thank you soo much! This means the world to me!" She said holding back her tears.
"Okay, enough of this. We're getting late. Take the dress I gave you, to the room and put it on. I have one more surprise for you!" I say pushing her softly towards the room downstairs.
Soon she came out wearing the dress. And oh my! Did she look stunning!!! (The picture at the top)
"Let's go" I whispered taking her hand.
We sat in the car and driver took off to the hills.
I turned on the music and it turned out to be.... Shawn Mendes singing a cover. Uh oh.
I slowly and nervously turned over to Ana.
She was smiling big and soon squealed loudly. I had to cover up my ears.
Yeah, she loves him. Found about him on Vine, and ever since then she's a fan. She goes crazy when it comes to him.
She started swaying to his music in the car itself. How cute!!!
"Anishka, I know he's your favorite and all but can you please calm down? I don't want to drain your energy yet.." I said.
"Uhhhh! You're no fun!" She whined.
"Sir, we're here" The driver said.
"Thank you for driving us here" Ana thanked him.
"It's all my pleasure ma'am! I'll be here 'til you guys are done"
"Are you sure? We might take a few hours" I asked
"Yeah sir, it's no problem"
"Okay if you say so" I replied as we started walking away.
We walked upto to the exact spot.
"Zach this beautiful!" She spoke in awe.

"Loved it" she utters barely above whisper.
We moved towards the table and sat.
We enjoyed each other's company for what felt like forever and then after eating we sat near the bonfire.
I held her in my arms. We had a comforting silence until she spoke
"Zach, I'm sorry that we're... you know... not official yet. It's just that I'm not yet ready to be committed and all of that. It's not that I don't like you. I really like you but-"
"I like you too but it's alright. I figured it when you refused to kiss me after our confession. But I totally understand. I respect your feelings. I'm ready to wait even till our 50s, ya know.."
"Well, I won't keep you waiting for that long for sure" She said.
"I know" We sat like that for next few mins., until a question hit my mind.
"Anns, what happened to you during our that football match?" I asked
"Which one?"
"You know the one after which you.. kind of fainted?"
"Oh... Nothing you should worry about" She said averting her eyes
"Tell me" I said.
"Trust me it's nothing"
"Anishka" I said sternly
"Okay fine. Actually I've Asthma. We found out about it when I was 5. It's something my father passed on to me. Actually many people in my whole family have it so it was likely for me to have this as genetic disease."
"Can it be cured?" I asked concernly
"No, not really. It's a chronic respiratory disease and a long term disease. It can be controlled though, by the use of inhaler and medications. And since it's a genetic issue, we can't do much about it"
"But I don't understand, what actually happened to you that day?"
"I had a severe attack of it that day. I do have attacks very often but only during a severe one I pass out. It must've happened because of shortness of breath due to the game"
"Ohhh.... Please take care of yourself. You don't know how scared I was for you"
"That's sweet of you but you don't need to. Now it's very normal for me. And yes, I'll take care. Don't worry"
"I can never not worry about you"
"Zach" she said sternly mimicking me. "Okay fine" I sighed.
"By the way, I was just wondering , why don't I see Mr. Herron around usually?"
"Actually, he's always flying out of the states for the business deals and stuff. You'll always find him on a world tour" I joked the last part. She giggled. "Oh! Well I think it's getting late. We should head back home"
"Yeah, and I didn't tell you earlier but you look stunning in this dress"
"Thank you, not only for this but more of, all of this and especially today's day"
"Anything for you love" She smiled and blushed when I called her that.
And this was the end to a beautiful day that I'll never forget. But now I that I know of her genetic disease, I care for her more than earlier.
