Anishka's POV
Right now we're in school and it's lunch time so we just had our lunch and and we're heading to the garden of our school. We were just passing the reception area when I read the notice board.
"Selection for Talent Show is starting from 21st December. Students interested in this can prepare a performance and perform it during the auditions which will be held till 5th of January" I read it out loud so that all my friends would hear it.
"Well, who's gonna participate?" Jack asked while we were walking towards the garden.
"I guess, all of us" Jo says with a duh tone.
"Like seriously, we all have been participating since Anns joined the school" Zach said.
Everyone agreed with Zach making me smile.
"Anyways, Imma try for dancing and singing" I said.
"What are the events that will take place?" Penelope asked.
"There's Dance, singing, dramatic arts or commonly known as plays, and then after having nearly 5 performances of each of them, there will be awards ceremony for different categories as student and then will be principal's speech, and after that the programme will be concluded with Western Finale dance" I explained.
"Wow, you really know all about the function don't you?" Jack said with astonishment. I just shrugged.
"Let's vote, who's gonna try for dance?" Jo said.
All the girls, Corbs and Jack raised their hands.
"Okayy. Singing?" Zach said
Me and the boys raised their hands.
"And I guess no one for dramatic arts" 'lope said giggling. We laughed as well.
"I guess the function will last for 5 hrs at least?" Diva asked
"Yeah, approx. 5 hrs. But it may take more time as I forgot to mention there will be dinner as well. Which will take part 30 mins. after then end of Western Finale" I said
"And yes, this year there's a new concept of pre-function rehearsals. Which means, we'll have to arrive at the venue at 10 o'clock in the daytime for final rehearsals which will include all the performances except the awards ceremony and principal's speech.
So the rehearsals will end by 12:30 pm and then we'll be given rest for 30 mins for having lunch and after that we'll be going for final makeup touch up and by 2:00 pm then actual programme will start" Dani explains.
"Cool. We'll be in for a hell of a day" Norah said with a straight face but soon everyone ended up laughing.
"Well, who's gonna be selected for sure?" Zach says to everyone but staring at me.
"Anishka" Everyone yelled except for Kay.
"Oh please, y'all are saying like she's sooo talented. But everyone knows how much of an untalented slut she is. But then again, one talent she has for sure, fucking every hot boy she knows" Kay said.
"Are you done bitch. You know what? I don't care what you think about me and neither I need to justify myself to you. Because if you wanna see a real slut then you can just merely stand in front of the mirror" I reply with sass.
"You-" She starts but soon gets cut off by Corbs.
"Look here Kay, I do respect girls but utter one more word against Ana and I'll forget all my manners" He threatens.
"Ofcourse, you and Zach are head over heels for her. Don't you see how much of a freak she is? But who am I expecting to see the real Anishka? The famous brats. You are just as useless as her, blood son of a-"
