IT'S LOVE WHEN IT BURNS (Zach Herron)

Anishka's POV

I am really happy that me and Zach are getting along very well. I don't know why I used to hate him. But anyways, today is our assement exam of Mathematics in which my, Corbyn's and Jack's classes were made to give it together though with a different syllabus. I was given a seat which was behind Corbs's and in front of Zach's. After completing my test I saw time was still left and students who have completed submitted their paper and started talking. 

I got up, coincidentally along with Zach. We smiled at each other and he signalled me to go first. I bowed dramatically in return causing us to silently chuckle. I submitted my answer sheet and so did Zach so we started talking. It was really nice to have Zach back as friend. 

Corbyn's POV

I saw Zach and Ana going together to submit their paper and smiled at each other while returning. Wtf?!! When did they become friends? And why didn't Annishka tell me? 

I ignored the strange hatred that I felt for Zach and started completing my last question.I heard chattering from behind when I got up to submit my paper.

I submitted it and returned to see Zach flirting with Ana and she didn't seem to notice that or..... Is she...?- No Corbyn, you must trust her. She's YOUR girlfriend, she wouldn't flirt with others. It's not in her nature. 

"Ana, hey, listen-" I tried to get her attention but was soon cut off by Ana rasing her hand to stop me without even looking at me, after a few seconds she turned to me. 

"Please wait Corbyn. You see, I'm talking to Zee. Just give me a minute" She said politely but- wait! Did she call him "Zee"? How? Why? She never called him by any nickname!!

There's something going on between them. 

I am angry at Zach. No, actually I'm..

Jealous. Yes, I admit it. I'm jealous. Seriously, who wouldn't be, when your own girlfriend gives priority to someone else over you. 

But... maybe I'm overthinking. I mean a sweet and kind girl like Annishka wouldn't cheat, right?? Yes, of course. They must have solved their issue and since they didn't talk to each for months so I guess they're catching up. 

And Zach is a really good friend. So she must be enjoying it with him after a long time. Yes, that's the reason.

After all, I can't expect her to give all her attention to me. She also, like me, has friends. I would give equal importance to my friends and her.

So that's what she's doing, right? Okay then Corbyn, let's calm down. 

Since, I thought it wouldn't be good to interrupt their conversation so I used this time to admire her features.

I watched the way, her hands move when she talks. Oh that indicates that she's a good speaker.

The way, her expression changes with her words. Oh how I loved it!! And not to mention her that angelic smile. 

Oh no. I think I'm falling in love with her. 

Oh yes!! I'm in love with her. 

I continued watching her with this goofy smile on my face after the realisation of love hit me. But with still a bit of jealousy in my heart. I know it's wrong. But I can't help it.
