(1 week later) 

Anishka's POV

"Hey Zach" no reply. 

"Zach!" again no reply. 

"Come on. Stop this prank, I'm not liking it" yet no reply and he finally walked away. 

"What's up with his mood these days? He's not talking to me.." I said to Diva.

"I don't know, I think he's upset from you. And who will not be, you are getting on our nerves lately" She said taking my aback by her words. 

"Excuse me? What are you talking about?" 

"Shut up Anishka. I'm glad now everyone's able to see how much of a slut you are, you scumbag" Kay gave me a smirk while saying this. 

"Kay, am I talking to you-" 

"Anishka stop it. You've been cornering her since a long time for no reason. Is it her fault that she's a teenager and has a crush on your friend? No, but you keep on having a go at her" 

"What's wrong with you guys?" I was shocked by the girls. I couldn't understand why they suddenly were being so cold towards me. Did I do something wrong?

"You know what? It'll be better if you leave our group. No one wants you here" Norah said. 

"Whoa whoa, okay. You all are taking her side? What has gotten into y'all? We have been friends since so long. Why such a cold shoulder towards me all of a sudden?" 

"We're not interested in wasting our time with you. Just know that, we are not your friends anymore. Bye! Let's go girls, we gotta go for shopping" 

I stood there, watching my friends leave me for once and for all.

Jonah's POV 

"Ana, hey hey hey, what happened? Why are you crying?" I asked her. 

She was standing there all by herself and crying. As soon as I came there she clung on to me and balled her eyes out. 

"Th-they don't w-wanna be my f-friends anymore." What?

"Who? The girls?" She nodded. 

"Why?"

"I-I don't know. Suddenly today they were supporting Kay and said that I am getting on their nerves lately. A-and even Z-zach is not talking to me.." I let her cry on my shoulder. 

"Shh. Don't worry, you still have friends. Corbyn, Jack, Daniel and I are your friends. Our siblings are your friends. Don't cry over the people who are not worth crying for. These tears of yours are precious, don't waste them for such people" I rubbed her back and spoke soothing words to her wanting nothing more than for her to calm down. 

She soon calmed down and I drove her back to her house. I'll have to inform Corbyn about this. 

**The next day**

Anishka's POV 

I walked into the school and found something very uncalled for.

Zach was flirting with Kay.

How could he? Wasn't he the one saying that he would wait for me no matter how long I take to be ready for becoming offical couple? Wasn't he the one agreeing that we can remain friends and think about relationship after graduation? I felt utterly betrayed. 

I don't really have friends anymore in the school so I kept walking by myself. 

"Hey Anishka!" Rachel, a student in my science class called me. 

"Hi"

"Umm, you have gym right now, right?" She asked. 

"Yeah. What about you?"

"Same. Can we walk together to the gym?" 

"Yeah why not" She smiled in return. She seems nice. Maybe I won't really be all alone by myself afterall. 

"Why did you seem disturb by those two back there?"

"it's just that, the guy was my best friend not long ago and the girl has been my enemy since my day one in the school. He also didn't like her that much. I don't understand how they became friends" 

"Oh.. Don't worry, we can be friends if it's alright with you" 

"Of course! Why not!" 

"So let's do this properly." She streched her hand out. " Friends?" She asked. 

I took her hand and shook it. "Friends" 

We enjoyed the rest of the day together. I'm really glad we became friends.

**Few weeks later** 

Zach hasn't been talking to me for weeks. And now it's disturbing me a lot, infact maybe more than it should.

Rumours are going around that Zach and Kay are dating. But they ain't thankfully. I heard her talking about it with Diva. 

We were watching a series of some other language but English dubbed. And by we I mean, I, Rachel, the boys and the girls (because boys are still their friends with them) 

So far the story of the series has been that, There's a girl who had a loving boyfriend but suddenly after a few years she found out that he was cheating on her with some other girl because the other girl was more beautiful and good looking— what a bunch of trash! 

"Hey scumbag, isn't it so relatable? Like, Zach realized that you ain't worth his time so he came to me. The previous girl was also like a total little slouchy, useless and ugly bitch. I can't find much of a difference between her and you." Almost everyone laughed except Rachel, Jonah, Corbyn, Daniel and Jack.

"Just shut your trap you-" I was cut off 

"No one's interested in such people's bullshit" Zach smirked making them chuckle again. My jaw ticked. He's changed so much... And I'm not liking it at all.

I tried to keep my face neutral but couldn't control myself. After a few minutes I said, "Excuse me guys" and went upstairs. 

And somehow Corbyn managed to follow me there not long after. 

Zach's POV 

Shit. Now I feel bad. I shouldn't have said that. 

I went looking for both of them after a good 5 minutes with an excuse of going to bathroom. 

I soon found her and Corbyn in a room. He was hugging her with her back faced towards me. 

"Why is it always have to be me, Corbyn? He keeps on making such mistakes and I'm the one getting hurt. He said he liked me. He even once joked about wanting to be my future husband but why so suddenly such a rude behavior?! I didn't know people say such words to the ones whom they like" She cried in his chest. 

He noticed me and trust me, if looks could kill I would've been dead by now. His death glare was that hard. 

"Ana, he's not worth your tears. Just wait and watch, he'll soon realise his mistakes. I don't know what you saw in him when you broke up with me- Sorry that was harsh but it's the truth. But don't worry, unlike him, I'll always be here for you" He kissed her forehead. 

What's gotten into me? Why did I say that to her? But you know what? My ego is just to big to right these wrongs. 

"Promise?"

"Promise"

It was the last thing I heard before leaving them alone.
