Anishka's POV

"Mr. Davis, I was thinking that we could have a unique welcome dance this year. Usually, we used to have in western style but this time I think we should have some kind of cultural dance-" I shared my idea with him

"You mean like we should add some eastern country's dance form because most of eastern countries have variety in dance" He said.

"Exactly! So I thought we should have Indian classical dance, because of it's diversity and the beauty it adds to dance, I thought it might be a good idea"

"You're totally right. It's an amazing idea!! Do you have the video for it?"

"Yes, I've already send it to you but for now here it is"

"This is brilliant!!! But we have one problem... Costumes? And make up? And how will you bring the fluency in it?"

"I've already made arrangements. One of my aunts is Indian and she's coming here the next week. She's also bringing the costumes and she knows the make up and since she was a classical dancer she'll teach me as well. The only thing is we'll have to prepare the props which will bring the vibe of India"

"You're incredible Annishka, you really are! You really planned it well. This dance will suit very well for welcoming, infact I can't think of any better idea than this. Perfect!!! And don't worry about the props I'll get it done"

"Okay. So I guess I'll head back to practicing with Corbyn"

"Yeah run along" He shooed me.

Zach's POV

I just got a break from our singing practice.

"Hey you're back?" Anns asked me.

"Yeah. We got a break just now. Well, what did Mr. Davis say regarding your idea of welcome dance?"

"He's really impressed!! He said this is the best idea for a welcome dance!! And-" She started filling me up but soon was cut off by Corbs.

"Ana, let's start practicing." Oh not again!!!

"Yeah let's go" She ran upto him.

He played the song and they took their positions.

Isn't this dance too much for our age? I mean, just look at them, at times they're soo close to each other that it seems like any moment they'd kiss. And Anns acts like it's nothing. I mean I get that it's better dancing with your best friend than with a stranger but hey, she shouldn't get that comfortable with him.

"Please have mercy on me. Take it easy on my heart. Even though you don't mean to hurt me-" I heard Kay singing beside me more like singing in my ears.

(A/N: Imagine that Shawn released this song an year earlier or so.. please..)

"Hey Kay. What do you want?" I mumbled.

"Oh Zach! I see the way you're looking at them. If looks could kill, Corbyn would have been probably dead by now" She mocked me.

"Shut up and get lost"

"Zach. I don't know why you still like her. I mean she's not even that pretty and moreover she always breaks your heart. Just think about it, when you both kind of liked each other -or that's what you believed- in start, she got official with Corbyn. And now, when you both surely know you like each other- or again, that's what you think- she's enjoying dancing like that with her ex. I mean if you see, she always goes back to him no matter what and leaves you here heart broken. Like seriously, step up in the game and show her that she doesn't mean anything to you..." And like that she ended her little speech to me and left.
