Evening-star's pov

I was in the same clearing were I met the weirdly dressed man from before, waiting to see what his answer would be.
I kinda hoped he would figure out how I could control my powers because I was getting really bored of not being able to look someone in the eye. Now I can't even touch someone either!
It was pathetic and I done with not having a normal life while all the hateful humans did.

My thoughts were interrupted when a large ship flew by overhead.
It wasn't the ship that that mutant group flew so my hopes soared as I realized that it was probably that man with an answer to my mutant problem.

I sped through the trees in hot pursuit of the jet. My feet pounding soundlessly on the undergrowth as I dodged and ducked away from overhanging limbs and shrubs.

Abruptly stopping at the edge of the clearing were I ran from the mutant group I watched as the jet opened and the man from before came strolling out.

"Well." I said, strolling out of the forest. "Do you have what I asked for already?" I kept my head averted from his eyes as I walked toward him.

"Yes." he started. "And the mutant that I gave the job to made it compact." When he said this he handed me a box barely bigger around than my hand and as thick as a fist.

Tentatively taking the box, careful not to touch him, I opened it and gasped.

Inside was a blue and silver bracelet that looked like it was made of turquoise and silver beads.

"This is what is going to control my mutation?" I asked, bewildered that something so small could help me control my power.

"Yes. Forge said that inside each of the beads is an electronic chip that minipulates and conducts mind waves of the wearer that work on mutations. In short, you think it off it turns your mutation off until you think it back on. This will work on any power so as to help you with the mutations that you take from other mutants." The whole time he was talking and explaining it, I was fiddling with the bracelet, trying to get it on. As soon as I did I flipped my power off and then started walking into his ship.

"Thank you. Now that I can control it, I will take you up on your offer off using my powers to get back at the homo-sapiens."

When I walked into the jet I noticed that he had brought more mutants. Keeping my eyes down, I sat in a seat across from them. Even with this bracelet on I wasn't going to look someone in the eye just yet. I didn't even know if it worked!

Sensing my hesitation the man spoke up. "I just remembered that you don't know my name! My name is Magnito and these are my children Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver." Finally gaining courage, I looked up and inspected the group.

The girl, who I assumed was Scarlet Witch, was dressed up in a gorgeous pink cat suit with a darker shade of pink cape going over her right shoulder and her full, black hair framing her face. The boy, who I think was QuickSilver, was dressed in a whitish-silver and green suit with his white hair looking like it was perfectly windblown.

Both of them looked to be around my age and I averted their curios gazes so as to inspect their father.

Magnito was dressed in a red and silver suit with a pretty cool helmet on.
I could only assume that he had that on to protect from powerful psychics.
