I am being picked up, the lady who picks me up runs out the door into the woods, to a waterfall.
The lady is my mom. I think. Because all of a sudden she changes. Her pretty brown hair turns red, her skin turns blue and eyes change from blue to yellow.
"I hope you don't live like your stupid, furry, blue brother, my daughter. My life is ruined because of you both." With that said mommy lifted me out across the waterfall and let go.

"No!!" I quickly wake up drenched in sweat, my throat sore, probably from screaming. I scream a lot in my sleep now. Moonlight was quickly by side her soft, silver fur pushing against my clothes. "Are you ok?" She softly growled. "Did you have that dream again?"
"You now as much as I do that it's a memory,Moonlight." I scratched out, my throat barely working.
"Yes of course I am sorry for my mistake." Moonlight gently sat down her snout nuzzling my cheek. "Just calm down and try to get back to sleep, tomorrow you have to go to town to get supplies, but for now just sleep. I will watch out for you. Always."

I hope you liked the first chapter Dream from the point of view of Evening-star. Just so that you aren't confused Moonlight is a wolf. A mutant wolf. And NO her power is not the ability to talk, her powers are 1)she can turn off any power, because of this she is an anchor for Evening-star when she can't control a new power. And 2) she is incredible big, much bigger than a normal wolf her age. This is not really a mutant power, and you get to find out how she got so big later in the book, but because of her size Everyone second guesses messing with her so,yah. Anyway hope you liked the first chapter.
Questions to think about:
1)who's Evening-star's mom that appears in the dream?
2) Evening-star has a brother?!? Who is he?
