I don't always have Internet when I get on to write. Because of this I can't look up words in another language for when Evening-star or anyone else speaks something besides English. So anything that's another language will be in bold.

Moonlight's pov

"Why are we here again?!" Whined
Ice-man.

We were finally at The Mutant Protectors home base. We had decided to center our search there since Vision and all the other psychics would have a better chance with all the advanced machines that Karma made for us.

"This psychic amplifier is simply astounding!" Professor Xavier said, ignoring Bobby's question and running his hands along the helmet he had in his lap.

"One of our main members made them, she's unfortunately going through something right now though, so she couldn't make it here to help as she said she would." Vision responded.

"Yes! When she's using this she says she can sweep through the entire world and a large section of the galaxy! Isn't that fascinating?" Brainwave said, turning and discussing this further with Dr. McCoy. They'd started a friendship already and I was thrilled that Brainwave had a science parter that didn't need to be talked through everything and kept pace with her thought process.

"Where's our room again?" Kitty Pryde asked me.

I turned to look at her and gestured at her to follow me.

"Oh, like, sweet!" She said. I don't think she thought I would answer her, I'd mostly closed myself off from the group of mutants after I'd gotten back to the mansion with Vision and we decided to move the team here. I guess I just felt more in tune here. Happier, even.

As we walked toward a hall that I knew had her room on it, Rogue, Gambit, Logan, and Storm walked towards us.

'Do you need something?' I projected toward them all.

"Oh! Uh no, thank you. We just wanted to get toward our rooms so we could change into swim wear." Storm said. "We heard there's a lake near here."

'There is. And I would be happy to escort you there if you would like.' I said.

"Ooooh!!! A lake! I just have to, like, get my swim suit and join you!" Kitty said, jumping up and down.

"Sorry bub. But I just wanted to know where my room is." Logan said.

"I'll show if you like." Uh oh. I turned and saw Talon making her way here.

Talon's mutation was visible and she was one the few unbothered by it. She had deep blue, almost black, fur covering her entire body and retractable claw/nails that were as sharp as daggers. They were modified to be unbreakable, it was a painful procedure. Stupid Core.

"I'm Talon. And who might you be?" She purred. Really uh oh.

"Wolverine." He grunted. He's apparently not very friendly.

I saw Talons eyes go red as the name clicked in her mind. "Wolverine?!!!" She yowled. She dropped into a crouch, teeth bared, and snarled at him threateningly. "As in, Weapon X?!"

The surrounding X-Men all gasped in astonishment that she knew what Wolverine was. "It's because of you that this happened!!" She snarled, unsheathing her claws. They glinted in the light as she started attacking Wolverine.
