Marriage of Love

(Zach's POV)

Ellie and I came together para sa yoga session. She's back to basic routines para hindi masobrahan ang muscles nya at nang dahil narin sa nangyari kamakailan lang, kailangan nyang mag ingat sa bawat galaw nya. I cannot afford to risk the safety of our baby anymore. Right after our session, Amber suddenly called so I immediately picked it up.

"Good morning sir,  a designer from  Swarovski came and an event's coordinator and they said that they have an appointment with you but you didn't mention anything to me" she said.

"Yeah right, I almost forgot... ahmm dalhin mo sila sa office ko, prepare some refreshments and inform them that I'll be there in 30 minutes" sagot ko naman.

"Was that Amber?" tanong naman ni Ellie and I just nodded. 

"Tumawag din si Jeni and I think kailangan ako sa hotel ngayon" she said and she helped me wipe my  sweats.

"Ipapahatid na kita" offer ko naman.

"Hindi na kailangan, I already asked Jeni na magpadala ng shuttle dito, mauna ka na't baka mas mahalaga yung appointment mo" sabi nya naman at nauna nang mag bihis sa bathroom.

Matapos kong makapagbihis ay dumiretso na ako sa office after dumating ang shuttle na hinihintay ni Ellie.

Pagdating ko sa office, agad naman akong sinalubong ni Amber.

"Sir? may pinaplano ka ba? I definitely smell something interesting" Amber asked while teasing me.

Napatigil ako at naalala ko nung isang araw sa lobby ng hospital, habang inaasikaso ko ang paglabas ni Ellie, I witnessed a marriage proposal in public... napaisip lang ako, Ellie and I didn't go through that kind of surprises, we skipped everything and just got married, I wonder how does it feel to go through so much trouble to make someone feel special and loved? So I planned to properly propose to Ellie and get married again, not a marriage of convenience but a marriage of Love.

"I just realized that I wanna try cheesy yet romantic things with Ellie" tipid kong sagot at nagpatuloy na sa paglalakad patungo sa office ko.

"I'm dying to know what kind of romantic thing you're thinking, should I be Impressed?" dagdag pa nya sabay ng malokong ngiti.

"Just focus on your work" 

"Wow! ikaw pa ba yung boss na kilala ko?" 

"Sympre naman"

"So... do you need a hand? " pag-ooffer nya but I think I can manage this.

"Thank you, but I want to do it alone.. I'll just ask you if I need any" simple kong sagot sakanya then I suddenly remember one thing. "I might need you to call the law firm, tell them that I have something to change in our divorce agreement" dagdag ko pa.

1 year is almost over and I don't think the divorce is possible but the contract is still legal, all I can do now is to change some of the content that will favour Ellie the most.

"This year is definitely full of surprises, Good luck with that sir" paalam nya at pinatuloy na ang inaasikaso nya.

Pumasok na ako sa office ko at kinausap ang event's coordinator, I also designed our new wedding ring for this wedding. This might not be our first wedding but I want this to be the best and my proposal will be on the day of the upcoming anniversary, right after the traditional waltz.

Because of Ellie's pregnancy, binawasan ko narin ang workloads ko para masamahan ko sya sa mga lakad nya sa umaga at mas maalagaan ko sya sa gabi. Ginive-up ko na rin ang project ni Belle. Ayokong mas masira pa ang pagkakaibigan namin kaya ayoko nang ma-involve sakanya as much as possible. Muntik nang makunan si Ellie dahil sa mga nangyari, We already had enough difficulties kaya ayoko nang dagdagan pa.
