What the hell is going on?
Why Ellie? of all the people... bakit sya pa?
Habang inaayos ni Zach ang traffic violation ni Ellie for reckless driving, pumasok na muna ako at naghanap ng powder room to fix myself. Hindi ko talaga inaasahan ang nangyari and we're both clueless about it. I hope she didn't notice it.
It took me a while bago ako nakalabas ng powder room at nakabalik sa office but everyone's gone, maliban kay Ellie.
"Nasaan na yung iba? Are you waiting for me?" Tanong ko sakanya.
"Nauna na sila sa restaurant na pinareserve ni Zach" malumanay nyang sagot dahil baka siguro sa nangyari sakanya kanina.
"What's wrong?" Tanong ko naman.
"I just... I just don't know what to say... After thinking about what you've told me... And also seeing you working here with Zach... I just realize that we're involved with the same guy.. isn't he the man you're talking about?" Tanong nya sakin.
She got me but despites of everything that happened, I'm still trying to be positive.
"Im glad that It was you and I know Zach is a just man kaya... Congratulations" I said and forcefully smiled.
"Are you really fine with us being together?" She asked then I just nodded and smiled at her then she suddenly hugged me joyfully.
"Thank you Isabelle, I thought you're not okay with it knowing that you also like Zach so much, Thank you" she whispered pero bakit parang ang sakit? I feel like Im not ready to lose yet? I cannot imagine myself watching them living happily together.
How did Zach fall to her?
My tears fell and I just rub it immediately so that she won't notice.
Ellie's POV
I'm glad that Isabelle is very understanding. I really didn't expect that the one she loved was Zach. Pero ako na ang asawa ni Zach's ngayon. What can she possibly do about it?
She'll support us unconditionally naman diba?
We now both arrived at the restaurant and Isabelle's research team is already there with Amber and Zach while waiting for us. Agad naman kaming umupo sa reserve seats namin. I am sitting beside Zach but he's a bit far dahil sa sobrang laki ng Round table.
"Nakapag order na ba kayo?" Tanong ni Isabelle.
"We were actually waiting for you both" sagot ni Zach
"You're starving us Ms. Belle, san ba kayo nanggaling?" Bungad ng isa sa kasamahan nila.
"I'm really sorry for causing the delay." Sagot ko naman.
"Wait! Aren't you Ellie Chavez?" Tanong kasama nila " I'm James by the way" pakilala nya din sakin.
" By the way, before I forgot, let me introduce my wife, Eliana Chavez Montgomery" pakilala ni Zach sakin.
Everyone didn't expect it, So for a celebration I decided to order some drinks. I called the waiter para maka order na.
"2 servings of steamed lobster, 2 servings of garlic prawns and Chicken teriyaki and since we are celebrating three bottles of peach wine nadin please" request ko.
"Wait? Peach wine?" Isabelle interrupted me kaya laking pagtataka ko naman.
"Zach, didn't you tell her that you're allergic to peaches?" Dagdag ni Belle kaya napatitig nalang ako kay Zach.
"Sorry...I didn't mention it to her yet." Sagot naman ni Zach. Kaya pala walang peach wine sa wine cellar nya.
"Don't mind me, I'll be driving anyway so I'm Good." Dagdag pa nya while giving me an I'm-sorry-I-forgot-to-tell-you look.
