Vicious boss?

Ellie's POV

We started discussing about the company's  vision and mission, it's really far from the details that Amber has sent me. So I tried changing the topic. 

"I heard from Amber that you're asking for partnership? Am I right?" I asked them.

"Yes, I already talked about it to Mr.  Montgomery and he said we should discuss it personally. " paliwanag ni Albert.

"Pasensya na, Madalang kasing magopen up si Zach about his company's matter since I'm also have a business of my own" paliwanag ko naman, but honestly? We never open up about each other's businesses. Hindi naman yun kasama sa kontrata namin and I don't know either kung bakit ko ba ginagawa to for him.

"I'm sure you brought the proposal with you, may I see it?" Dagdag ko pa.

Agad namang inabot ni Daniel ang isang portfolio at agad ko itong binasa. It's about the rubber estate in Thailand, I didn't know about this.

Ilang sandali, bigla nalang pumasok si Zach, buti naman at nandito na sya. 
It's obvious that he didn't expect me to come here.

Agad syang lumapit sakin and he kissed me on my cheeks at sabay bulong ng "Thank you" then I just nodded. He didn't need to kiss me para magthank you lang. Is this my punishment for what I've done to him? Tsk!

"I'm sorry Mr. Mondragon." pag-aapologize nya sakanila. 

"It's okay Mr. Montgomery, your wife is doing well" sagot naman ni Mr. Mondragon  at nakipagkamay kay Zach.  "Anyway he's Daniel Andrada, my son in law and the vice president of M&M corporation" pagpapakilala niya kay Daniel at napalingon naman si Zach sa akin. I'm sure he recognize him by his name kaya nakipagkamay nadin sya at umupo na sa tabi ko. Buti naman at nandito na sya. 

"I was reading about their proposal, I'm not sure if  it suits your taste"  sabi ko at binigay sakanya ang portfolio. 

"Ahmm.. this is not a simple matter, I hope you understand that I also need some time to study your proposal" sabi nya matapos buksan ang ilang pahina ng portfolio. 

"Off course Mr. Montgomery, let us know if you're not satisfied yet" sagot naman ni Mr. Mondragon. 

Di nagtagal natapos din yung meeting at agad na silang umalis. Kaming dalawa nalang ang natira sa meeting room and he's still reading the proposal. 

I want to ask him but I'm not sure if he's gonna like it. I might accidentally add some fuel to the fire. 

"Sabihin mo na ang gusto mong sabihin" he said nang mapansin nyang nakatingin lang ako sakanya.

"I'm sorry" I said, sa dami ng gusto kong sabihin yun lang ang lumabas sa bibig ko pero pinagtawanan nya lang ako. 

"What's wrong with you, bat ka nagsosorry" tanong nya.

"I don't know, but you seem upset, may nagawa ba ako? or Did I really hurt you last night?"  paliwanag ko.

Lumapit naman sya sakin and he hold my hands. 

"I'm sorry for making you worry" he said and gently hug me. "Okay lang ako, marami lang iniisip sa trabaho" dagdag nya.

I know something is bothering him but I cannot force him to tell me everything. I am in no place to ask him kaya aalis nalang ako.

"I should go" paalam ko naman sakanya.

"I'll send you back" he said kaya tumango nalang ako.
Paglabas namin ng office nya, his employees is acting strange, they look like cramming and rushing to do something, hindi naman ganito kanina pagpasok ko a.
