Chapter 7: Cry me a river, build a bridge, and over it
"I'm afraid of death... Yes, but that doesn't stop death from coming does it..."
- Agatha Christie, And Then There Were None, Chapter 13
Caydon’s POV
Poke “Wake up” poke “Sleep” poke “head” poke “get up” poke.
I swat away the damn thing poking me; I’m trying to sleep for peats sake!
Poke “Get up” poke “get up”
If they poke me one more damn time, I swear they won’t have any fingers left to poke me with!
Poke
“What?!” I say rolling over and putting the pillow over my head.
“Get up dude. You’re a lazy culo.” The annoying person says.
“Ten more minutes” I mutter pulling the blankets up over me as well.
“No, now!”
“No” I say getting comfy in my bed.
“Fine be that way”
aww mierda, I know that annoying voice now. Cameron. He’ll get over it.
Guess he got over it, just as the darkness takes over and I start to fall back asleep a rush of coldness hits my bare chest and my pillow is being ripped away.
“I said get up. Now if you don’t move it, I will throw water in your face.” Cam says in a tone that dares you to mess with him.
I set up in bed and rub the sleep out of my eyes.
“Good boy” he says ruffling my hair like a I’m a dog.
I swat away his hand “I’m not a joder dog”
I get up and walk over into my bathroom for a shower, I’m one of those people who like to stay clean.
I must say I have a pretty awesome room. The walls are an olive color and the floor is a light oak hardwood. When you first walk into my room straight ahead you will see floor to ceiling French doors that leads out to my balcony. Out on my balcony I have just 2 brown wicker chairs in each corner and a small table out there. Then just off to the right you will see an L shaped black leather couch, a cherry oak coffee table and what looks like a half wall with cupboards is actually where my 62’ inch flat screen telly is stored along with my video games. All I do I push a button onto a remote and the telly comes popping up. The just behind where the telly is at, there is an island slash bar slash table with 4 bar stools and a mini fridge that is full of everything you could think of. Most of the time we play card games there. Then on your left you will see my California king sized bed with an end table on each side. Then on the wall where my bedroom door is at, in the left hand corner is a huge U shaped desk, where my hunter green HP computer is at. Then on the right side of same wall you will see my 4 book shelves filled with books and stuff, Unlike Grace’s room where she has that reading slash secret hideout is at behind her book shelves mine are just normal. Then on the right side of my room you will see 2 doors fairly close to each other. The one farthest to the left is to my walk in closet that has a door to the bathroom as well. Then the other door is to my bathroom. My room is done in mainly black, grey and green. Grace and my mom helped design it. Grace was like 12 at the time and I just turned 13, it was my birthday present.
Once I am done in the bathroom, I walk into my closet and pick out what I’m going to wear today. I grab a pair of Abercrombie and Fitch denim cargo shorts along with A&F dark grey tee shirt. To complete my outfit I grab grey and teal vans and my brown Ray Ban sunglasses. I put my favorite Hollister cologne and walk out into my room. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking ‘this dude knows fashion?!’ I know fashion thanks to my aunt being a fashion designer and spending a lot of my time with her in the summers.
