When I got home, mum and dad were getting Elliot ready. He was in his Baseball gear with his dark brown gloves and his red helmet.

"Hello dear.", mum greeted.

"Hello mama hello dad." I said.

"How was school dear?" dad asked as he was help Elliot untangle his shoe laces.

"It was fine, I was wondering can I stay at The Alphelions for this weekend, Charmaine invited me to have a sleepover." I asked. I was scared they'll say no.

"Ok sure Hun, be on your best behaviour, you know their standards, also, take Charmaine as your example, she's really talented, is she?" mum compared.

"Yes mum, thank you, I'll go pack up" I am used to getting compared by Charmaine, what do you expect when having a perfect best friend.

I ran up the stairs and threw books and clothes into my backpack. I added a couple of books, I brought my wand, a jacket, pajamas, more clothes and a plushie of Fang, Hagrid the gamekeeper at Hogwarts's dog. I texted Charmaine and surprising she answered and she said that her parents told her to come pick me up at my front door. I grabbed my bag and ran to the front door, mum and dad were already gone. Charmaine was there beaming.

"Estella! My parents are there waiting for you!" she yelled with excitement. I think her parents sort of adopted me as their own daughter, I've been to their Manor a lot of times. Yes, I said it right, a Manor. It's a huge mansion that The Alphelions passed downs from generations to generations.

We walked for a while and talked about books. We made nerdy jokes and I secretly thought that the diary is full of lies. Charmaine doesn't look like a girl that goes through those things.

A couple minutes later we were at a ginormous Manor that looked like a castle. There were huge gates that automatically swung opened upon our arrival. There were gardens and hedges surrounding the Manor. Trees were as tall as the Manor. There were two statues of Lions in front of the Manor, I understand why they were there because Alphelion has lion in the end. There was also a huge fountain that sprayed water down through its layers. It was majestic. It looked too big for a family of 3. The Alphelions were extremely rich people so it's not surprising. Their history laid back in centuries. Their family is very old.

When I walked through the doors, I saw a tall staircase that leads up the stairs. There were sofas all around with a ginormous TV. There was a long table displayed with statues in the middle of the hall. There were tall shelfs stacked with books and trophies, just like Elliot's. Perhaps Charmaine won a lot of trophies like him. There were framings of certificates, perhaps her parents'. There were also some family photos on the walls. Their house was minimal. It was all white, grey and silver.

Charmaine asked me to take my shoes off and wear slippers instead. Sounds like an Asian household to me even we were Scottish. My mum is French and my dad is Scottish so I am half and half. Coincidentally, Charmaine was born in France but her parents were pure Scottish.

Charmaine's parents came down and I greeted them. Mr. Alphelion looked a lot like Charmaine. He had long blonde hair, grey eyes and he was dressed in a black suit. Her mother also had blonde hair but her hair had a mixture with black, I don't think it was dyed. She was in a home gown and she looked beautiful. When I stepped foot in the Manor, I noticed that they were professional, now I understood why they called Charmaine a disgrace because she wasn't as professional as they were.

"Happy birthday Estella!" Mr. Alphelion exclaimed.

"Thank you, sir." I replied politely.

"Charmaine, can you take Estella to your room and get on with your homework." Mrs. Alphelion said softly.

"Yes, Mother." Charmaine bowed her head.

"What homework do you have?" her father asked.

"We have an Essay to write in Science sir, how Photosynthesis work and its benefits." Charmaine quietly replied.

"When you two are done, show it to me." Her Father said sternly.

My heart sank. No, my writing skills are so bad, I am not going to show him but I have no choice, I am not going to argue with him after what I saw in the diary.

"Yes sir" we both said at the same time.

We walked up the staircase. The railings were painted in silver which glistened like a diamond when the sun shone from the window. We reached upstairs and I saw a row full of rooms. The first room I saw was labeled on the door "The Master Bedroom" I think it was Charmaine's parents' room. Another door we passed was labeled "The Study", perhaps it's Mr. and Mrs. Alphelion's office. Another door we passed was labeled "The Library". Holy Crickets they have a library! I'll ask Charmaine to go in there soon. We passed the Gym, The Maid room, The meeting room and at the edge of the hall way we finally reached a door that labeled "Charmaine Aldric Rowena Elizabeth's Room" why can't they just stick to Charmaine's room? The label was engraved to the silver door frame.

Her room was humungous. It was so clean, very different from mine. She also had a queen size bed with a canopy hung over. There was a book shelf stuffed with books. There was a study table where she had stacks of markers and pens displayed. She had an art corner where she painted beautiful things. There was also a shelf full of rewards that she won over the years. There was another bookshelf that was actually a door t her closet, it gave me Anne Frank vibes. I saw the diary resting on her side table. It doesn't look like a normal teenager's room; it was too minimal and clean.

"Let's get the homework done!" Charmaine exclaimed.
