All-star Weekend Bud Light Show Preparation: 7:40 PM

It's 9 degrees, cold, and wet. Nicki and dancers are practicing at a studio in Chelsea.

Laurieann Gibson:

"Boomkack, a boom boom kack"

" Yaaaassss, perfect Nicki! Now at the transition I need you to get low.... no lower like on your knees.... NICKI GET LOW! YASSSS perfect love it!"

"Now when you get to the hook you must command the stage"

"That's perfect Nicki, lets give it one more run through"

Nicki Minaj: "I'm tired bumble bee"

Laurieann:"K, how do you feel about what we have?"

Nicki:(Turns her face up), "ehhhh, not 100% but."

Laurieann: "K well, we'll pick up tomorrow..!", (leans in a for a hug), "great work today Nick, get some rest!

Nicki:"Thanks Laurieann, mwah" (kiss on the cheek) "see you tomorrow"

(Nicki heads over to grab her bag from the floor. Just as she's throwing it over her shoulder her phone rings and vibrates. She sits the bag down to find her phone and a smile arises on her face when she finally gets to it. The screen reads "Favorite <3". She answers)

Nicki: "Hi Meek... " (Blushing)

Meek: "hi.. What you mean hi? Like was sup Nick?" (Frustration and worry in his voice)

Nicki: "what do you? ... I .. I've been.. busy"

Meek: "you been busy? i been calling you all day"

Nicki: "Yes but i'm gonna try to...."

Meek: "nah, nah ain't no trying, I'm about to slide thru.... where you at?"

Nicki: "ugh, i look crazy right now (looking at her reflection in the tall mirror) I'm leaving rehearsal..."

Meek: "you could never look crazy.... Never that.... where dat's at? "

Nicki: (hesitant) "let me go back to the hotel first..... And then ill call you"

Meek: "then you'll call me(doubtful) .... Right.... I'm serious Nic, I been trying to see you all day...what you afraid of? ..."

(After getting out of an 11 year relationship she was left with feelings of betrayal. She didn't like to think about trust because she'd lost all faith in it.  Somebody like Meek, young, successful, rapper, she knew he'd he hard to tame but even more so, herself... )

Nicki: "I'm not afraid, like I said I'm just busy.... (Lowering her voice) but meet me at the Hotel, I'm staying at The London in Midtown"

Meek: "the London... alright bet, ill be there in 30 minutes"

Nicki: "umm, ok...." (in a childlike manner)

(Nicki hangs up the phone, and smiles. She lifts her head up and there is Sherika looking right back at her with a grin on her face)

Nicki: "Whaaaat?" (giggling and blushing)

Sherika: "so that was Meek?! Y'all talking regularly like that now?? " (smiling) where is he at?"

Nicki: "he's out here , he has a show, so ya dun kno?..." (laughing) "And yes we are, we're just friends, just having fun ... THATS IT" (trying her best to sound convincing)
