CHAPTER 04

Raidyn's expressionless face suddenly had a very small barely visible, smile. He raised his fist as well and replied, "Yeah.. see you later..Jack Sparrow wannabe."

As their fist met for a fist bump, Ronan sneered, "this bandana is to keep my hair off of my face pony-ass."

They both glared at eachother again, when Ronan chuckled and Raidyn's small smile returned.

"See ya." Said Ronan as he turned around and walked to what Raidyn assumed was the direction of his class.

Raidyn's face returned to its naturally sleepy look and he was surprised to see that the class was still half empty when he entered it. His surprise only grew when he saw her.

Holy fuck balls. Raidyn thought to himself. I'm not hallucinating, it IS her! The girl from today morning!  He noticed that she was staring into space and even better, the seat in front of her wasn't occupied. Bingo. Raidyn internally cheered.

He quickly occupies the seat in front of her and turns around to face her. He looks at her, runs a hand through his messy bed-head wavy hair and gives her an actual grin. All of his sleepiness seemed to have disappeared because of Ronan and now that he actually met the mystery girl, the guy was fully awake.

"Don't ya think it's rude to stare at people's houses?" Were his first few words to the black haired beauty.

She just stares at him because...what is this guy's deal? "Huh?" Was her reply to Raidyn.

"What do you mean, "huh?", you were staring at my house today morning, you had this really nostalgic look on your face."

The girl just stared at him and suddenly understood what he was talking about.

"Wait, who are you again?" She questioned him.

"Uh...the new student who moved from Toronto..and..the guy who now lives in the house you were just...uh..staring at this morning." Raidyn answered unsure if it would ring any bells for the girl.

She sighed and suddenly looked uninterested. "So they sold it huh..? Great. Just wonderful." She mumbled to herself.

Raidyn heard her anyways, but he didn't question her though, because she looked so tired.

"So..." He began as his face again returned to it's usually bored expression, "why were you staring at house like that?"

The girl shrugged her shoulders, as she rested her face on the palm of her hand and closed her eyes, "the house is pretty. The design's nice." Was her simple answer.

It was a lie, and the both of them knew it.

"Okay...well, I'm Raidyn Skye." He decided to start a conversation.

"Okay grandpa." Came her bored retort.

Raidyn's eyebrow twitched. What the fuck was up with this damn academy's students!? Was getting on people's nerves their thing?? Also, grandpa? I'm not fucking old..I don't even have white hair growing yet...- his thoughts abruptly stopped when he realized what she was referring to.

"It's fucking black with silver streaks genius." He informed.

"Good for you man. What do you want? A sketchbook and crayons? You seem to be really into colours." Came her sarcastic remark as she was slowly leaning her head down.

Raidyn could feel his patience running out at this girl's lack of interaction when he was just trying to be a nice new student or something.

He was about to snarl out a reply when a girl with brown hair and pink highlights sat down on the empty seat beside the unapproachable girl. Her cheeks were pink like her highlights and she was panting, looking like she just ran a marathon.

Raidyn decided to take out his bottle of water and hand it over to the girl who looked like she was about to pass out.

She looked at Raidyn, gave him a thankful smile, took the bottle from his offering hand and quite literally drowned, from Raidyn's perspective, almost half of the contents of the bottle.

"Ugh! Much needed. Thankyou, um.." she trailed off while looking at him with a questioning look.

"Raidyn Skye." He added.

Her eyes sparkled, "Ah! Raidyn huh? That new kid from Toronto?"

"Um..yeah. The one and only." He replied.

"So cool! Don't look so uncomfortable! Haha! Everyone's talking about you. I mean even the whole class is looking at you!"

As soon as she mentioned that, Raidyn could feel the stares. Literally. At this point, he was used to it. He continued talking to the marathon girl. "I..see. What's your name though?"

"Oh shoot. I'm so sorry, I'm 𝗦𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗲! I'm the class president by the way." She paused as she looked at the girl next to her, "and this grumpy rude cat here is, Emaya June."

Just as she finished introducing them, Emaya groaned and lifted her head up and looked at Sakura.

"Dude...for Christ's sake..."

"Sorry, sorry. We're you waiting long for me?" She asked sheepishly with a grin.

Emaya shrugged, "not really."

"I know you're lying gurlie. I'm sorry, I was caught up with Mr. Boyfriend, which reminds me of.... Boyfie invited you to lunch as well." Sakura informed.

Emaya still looked uninterested, "Cool."

"Okay then! You're coming with me during lunch hour. We'll go submit the club students' names to Mister Harlow and then go meet my significant other and his new friend!"

"Whatever you say." Emaya said, but Sakura had a big grin on her face. She then turned back at Raidyn.

"Rai! Can I call you that?" She asked cheerily.

"Yeah, sure." Raidyn confirmed.

"Sweet! Uh, are you interested in any club activities?" Sakura asked and Emaya zoned out from there and chose to stare out of the huge classroom window.
