RAIDYN'S P.O.V

"So uh...what do you wanna do again?"

"Do you want a volleyball ball to your head this time?"

"You want to surprise her? That's a great idea Rai! It'd probably make her really happy." Nyx nodded and approved.

Nyx, Ronan and I were just chilling in the gym after a late practice session.

"Yeah. But I don't know her preferences well yet. Just that she loves the colour black and prefers caramel coffee with cream." I replied while thinking.

"Her twin brother is right here, don't worry 'bout all that bro." Nyx smirked.

"The fuck are you guys on about?" Ronan asked, while casually tapping away on his phone.

Nyx's eyebrow twitched and he threw the soft ball he was squishing at Ronan's face.

"Raidyn wants to ask Emma out on a date, you hard headed ass humpty!" He yelled.

"Where the fuck do you come up with these insults Shrek faced shit head!? Ronan yelled back as he rubbed his nose and glared at Nyx.

"Excuse me, one eyed parrot! Shrek is beautiful thank you!" Nyx argued as he glared at Ronan too.

"For fucks sake, stop associating me with every pirate thing, dumb hoe!"

I hate it here.

"Okay okay, I get that you wanna ask her out, sheesh. But like... how are you going to do that?" Ronan asked.

We were grocery shopping for our family dinner tonight. Turns out mine and Ronan's dad used to be best friends back in their childhood days and now they're reunited. That day was kind of funny now that I think about it. I was surprised but Ronan's face was hilarious. Then the dingus said something really dumb about us being soalmates and I was this close to strangling him.

"I'll think of something after I talk to Nyx later." I answered.

"You guys seem pretty close now ya know? You and Nyx." He commented.

"You could say that. He's kinda awesome." I agreed.

"That's great to hear. You don't know how much I appreciate you being here Raidyn. Even though you weren't there that time, you're unconsciously picking up the pieces and helping us somehow.
I feel like I'm taking you for granted and using you sometimes... I'm sorry for that. But I swear, you're you and I guess I'll speak for everyone, when I say that, we're not replacing Kaz's place by putting you there instead." He confessed.

I stopped walking and looked at him.

He continued, "There's Kaz's place and you have your own place in our lives now, Raidyn. So thank you for coming and helping us get through all that happened. The void's always going to be there but for me, atleast, life feels a lot better." He smiled.

"And thank you for being there for Nyx." He looked at me with sad eyes.

"I know I hurt him. But he's just that much of a kind person, that he wouldn't say anything to hurt me. I've asked him to punch me so many times but the dude would just laugh it off. Seriously. Is he an angel or something? But yeah... I love Sakura...so much that I want to make her my wife someday.
