[UNEDITED]
The last time I saw you, you waved at me and said, "See you in a while Eya.."
Emaya sat in front of his grave, "It's been a while....
..Kaz." Her voice broke.I remember that one time, when we sat on the edge of that cliff you took me to. You told me that the view of the stars from there made you feel like you had the universe in your arms. You said that it felt like.... that galaxy was ours.
And just as the galaxy seems endless,I thought our love would've lasted for an eternity too.
"Who would've thought...that there would come a time when I'd talk to you like this, without hearing anything back from you." She spoke softly.
Then again, was I being selfish? For holding you back when you wanted to let go? Was I being fair for not letting you leave the one place that has caused you so much pain?
"Are you better now baby? It doesn't hurt anymore does it?" She asked as she took the dry leaves that had fallen on top of his grave and slowly threw them on the ground.
Life is still the same. The way it has been from when you left. I'm always stuck in my head. I can't help but blame myself sometimes you know? Like, what would've changed if your calls did reach me? What would've happened if I could've found you on time? What would have been the outcome if they treated you better...?
Emaya was exhausted.
She was exhausted from crying so much. She was exhausted from the pain that her heart was going through. She just wanted everything to stop. She couldn't take it. It hurt. It hurt so much.
"Where is my son!?" Yelled a voice from behind her.
Emaya turned around to see Kaz's excuse of a mother.
Mrs. Grey looked around , saw Emaya and grew a pissed off look.
"You! It was you wasn't it!? What did you do to our son!?" She screamed at her.
Mr. Grey was just standing behind his wife talking on the phone.
And Emaya couldn't control herself anymore.
"YOU NEVER CARED! YOU NEVER FUCKING CARED! WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU HERE NOW!?" She yelled back.
This seemed to anger Mr. Grey, because he ended the call and looked at Emaya in disapproval.
"He was our son." He announced.
"Was he? WAS HE!? HE FELT NEGLECTED!" Emaya answered.
"How would you know? We are his parents. Don't tell us what's right and wrong , young lady! We KNOW our son better than you do!" Mrs. Grey retorted back. She honestly seemed smug.
