The air is cold and feels so good as the wind gently touches my face. It ever so slightly brushes my dark hair behind me. And I feel warmth in my hand as I look down to see the lovely Fred Weasley holding my hand with our fingers laced together. The grounds to Hogwarts were so beautiful as we sat together and looked upon the black lake. Today was another Hogsmeade trip and I was meeting someone important..But Fred couldn't come with me. I was meeting My aunt Narcissa Malfoy. I thought it best not to bring Fred with me..So we were spending the morning together until then.
"So what do you think about me and Harry teaching students about defending themselves?" I asked him as we sat on an old log beside the lake. I looked around and saw a couple of students I recognized from Hufflepuff sitting on the other far end, and the squid was splashing around happily. "I think its amazing, your the smartest person I know" He said kissing me on the top of my head.
Over the past week or so things were only getting worse. Umbridge had so many rules you felt like you were in Azkaban rather than Hogwarts. She inspected every aspect of the dress code and Fred and I got tired of detention and eventually stopped holding hands or kissing outside of the common room. My defence against the dark arts class was a complete and utter waste of time, and I had to try most of the time to stay awake. None of the other teachers could even say anything to her, since she worked for the ministry. She went as far as to start an 'inquisitorial squad' which basically was a bunch of extra prefects who coincidentally were all in Slytherin. I had to admit I was disappointed when I saw badges on the uniforms of Draco and Aimee.
Aimee still never acted any different to me, she never listened to what other people thought about her. And she ate lunch with me every day. The gryffindors warmed up to her over a couple of days at least. Harry being the exception..He gave her cold looks and never spoke a word to her. She was constantly with Draco, and I knew immediately something was going on with the pair of them..I didnt mind though, they were way too simliar to one another to stay apart. We decided not to let Aimee in on our secret 'club' we were starting, so she didnt feel torn between two things...And I love my cousin, but he would sell out Harry in a hearbeat.
"When are we having the meeting with everyone?" I asked him as I leaned my head against his shoulder. He looked too cute today with his beanie that covered his flaming red hair and his dark jeans, where I couldn't help staring at his butt..Hard not to with my line of vision very close to the ground. "Today, at three in the Hogs head..Its pretty much abandoned so no one will be there" He answered me. Thankfully I was meeting Narcissa at noon and would have time to attend the meeting.
"Im meeting my aunt at noon, but ill meet you there ok?" I asked standing up and wrapping my arms around neck. He pouted his bottom lip out and furrowed his brow. At this point I knew when he was being serious..rarely..and when he was kidding..like now. "Oh don't pout, you can live a couple hours without me" i said giving him an Eskimo kiss. He scrunched his nose and proceeded to softly place his lips to mine. Every kiss we share was like the first kiss.. I loved them all. I could feel butterflies each and every time, and I loved this new and exciting feeling I got every time we were around each other.
"Besides, were apart in most of our classes..now should be no difference" I said as we pulled apart, and I placed a soft kiss on the tip of his nose. We only had defence against the dark arts with each other, the other classes I was in the more advanced ones. But we tried to spend as much time together on the weekends as possible. "I know babe..now go before your late" He said kissing me one last time and slapping me on the behind making me giggle. Fred had something to do with George so they were meeting us later...
When i entered the three broomsticks i immediately smelled the aroma of freshly brewed butter beer.It was nice and toasty inside with a dark orange roaring fire in the fireplace. And it was a nice change to the chilly weather outside. I took off my coat and scanned the building for my aunt. It didn't take me too long to spot her, she actually didn't look entirely different. She had the same platinum blond hair that matched her sons, and wore the same expensive looking clothing I remember her always having on. The only difference is the darkness she added underneath her hair, making her look younger.
