"Mamma!" I heard in the other room and I sighed knowing it was Teddy wanting to get up for the day. Hearing his tiny voice yelling for me from his crib made me smile, but I cringed every time he called me mamma knowing it was a lie. It has been six months since the battle of Hogwarts, and not  a second goes by where I don't think of everything that I have lost. I slipped my robe around me before quickly brushing my teeth and wandering out of my bedroom.

Teddy's room was directly across the hall from mine, and he was sitting up in his crib playing with a couple stuffed animals. He turned and saw me standing there before smiling brightly and reaching for me, his bright blue hair changing colors as I got closer. I laughed and picked him up before kissing him on the cheek. Teddy had gotten the metamorphagus gene from my sister and every few minutes his hair would change colors. Teddy was barely six months old, but he was so advanced for his age already. Already at six months old he could sit up on his own and crawl, much to my dismay.

I held Teddy on my hip before walking down the hallway and into the kitchen to make breakfast. "Good morning" I heard behind me, and turned to see Aimee walking in rubbing her eyes. Aimee and I moved in with each other after her trial at the ministry, her and the Malfoys being found innocent. We got a small town home in the heart of London, and the three of us enjoyed being on our own. But that didn't make it any easier realizing I didn't have my sister and Remus sleeping in the other room. After about two months of living at our old flat, the memories were too much to bare and I moved out.

"Pancakes?" I asked pulling out some mix from the cupboard. Aimee nodded before kissing Teddy on the head and sitting in the chair beside him. "You read my mind" She grumbled before using her wand to make herself a cup of coffee. Aimee had never been a morning person, and I would rather wake up with a hippogriff than deal with her most mornings. I quickly made each of us a couple pancakes, cutting Teddy's up into small pieces and handing him a plastic fork.

"What time do you work today?" Aimee asked through a mouthful of pancake, I grimaced seeing a few pieces fall out before chugging the rest of my coffee. "Not until noon" I said grabbing Teddy's and my plates and placing them in the sink to wash. I was lucky enough to get a job at St. Mungos, having skipped my last year of healer training. I was currently working in the ward of the hospital with patients of memory charms. It wasn't too bad, I got to see Neville pretty much every weekend and Gilderoy Lockhart was quite the character. I made a pretty decent living working there, enough so that Aimee didnt have to work and just watched Teddy for me while I worked instead.

"Momma!" Teddy squealed looking at me from the seat beside him, and I sighed before picking him up and cuddling him to my side. "I hate when he calls me that" I said to Aimee from across the table. She gave me a sad smile before making a funny face at Teddy who had looked over at her. "I know babe, but you're his mother now" She told me before reaching over and grabbing Teddy from me, grabbing a napkin off the table and wiping the syrup off his face. "I think it's about time for you to go see the Weasley's as well." She added before placing Teddy on the ground in the living room with his toys and taking the seat beside me.

I shook my head and placed my head in my hands. "I haven't talked to him since the battle, he isn't going to want to see me" I mumbled, wiping away a tear thinking about my beloved George and how badly I must have hurt him by not seeing him for months. "You don't know that love" Aimee said reaching over and rubbing comforting circles on my hand. "He knows you went through a lot and needed some time"

"Yeah but he is hurting too" I added looking up to her with tears in my eyes. "Too much time has gone by Aim's " I said wiping away my tears.

"I know you miss him Ronnie, go see him" She said. I did miss George, I missed him so much it ached. But after two months went by and we hadn't spoken, and then four and then six months went by with no words to each other it was almost like we were never together. It was almost like I lost Fred and George both in that battle. "Then go see Draco" I said with a raised eyebrow, and immediately Aimee shut down.
