Mitsuki wondered the streets of the village quitely. The rain pattered on her head and the choking mist hung like a veil. She had said goodbye to the lady and had told her she would go back to her barn to get her friends to investigate, and was on the way home. When she got to the forest, she heard another rustling noise somewhere. Carefully, she walked on
Back home. Every second, she felt more and more as if she was being watched. A presence could be felt everywher she went. Mitsuki took the long path to her home just in case somebody was actually following her. Mitsuki froze. A glimpse of movement passed through the trees. She edged her feet backwards a litlle and looked around. Silence. She sighed in relief, and kept walking on, but....... suddenly, there was a person crouching on one of the branches. The
Hooded figure! It threw its cloak in the air, but before Mitsuki could see anything, the cloak flew onto her face. She jumped and fell backwards. Mitsuki turned, pulling the cloak off her face to see a man standing right behind her.
"Aah!" she jumped again. He was dressed in a torn, dirty and jagged naval outfit, with a pirate hat. His neck was marked with an eye, and so was his hat. A tired, sickly look sat on his face. A pirate! Mitsuki circled around as she pulled her sword out. Soon the two of them were getting ready to fight. Then, he leaned his head forward a little and smiled,"You sure you wanna do this, kid?"
His voice was deep and a bit croaky, and sounded about twenty years of age. Mitsuki didn't answer, but just frowned and tried to focus.
"Don't let him get you, okay? You got this. Who does this bozo this he is anyway?" She thought. Determined, she jumped straight forward, aiming for his head. He lifted his hand and formed a little orange circle around her arm, where she froze in the air. Then, she was blasted back by a gust of air. He laughed quietly.
"Huh?" "What are you laughing at?" Said Mitsuki, with a slight tone of fright. "Right. Remember what you learnt in the spellbook. Urasenai spell, then swift teleport." "Urasenai!" Three gems lit up and she jumped again, with all of her force this time. Then, before he could get her, she disappeared in mid air, and reappeared on the ground behind him. She did this repeatedly, teleporting around to try and confuse
him. He sighed, made an orb in his hands, which he then released in the air. Mitsuki edged back. Nothing happened though. She kept teleporting, when she finally appeared above above him, heaving her sword onto his head. Or so she thought. Just as she was about to slice him in half, he vanished to thin air. Mitsuki hit the hard ground, and he reappeared behind her." Your teleport needs practice," he said in an impatient voice. The man whispered something under his breath, and suddenly, the orb split into a million shards that went everywhere and a cloud of smoke spread out quickly. Multiple hands grabbed her from behind, but she broke free. Mitsuki ran as far as she could, looking behind behind her, but when she turned back, he was standing in front of her. He reached out a hand. "Goodnight," he smiled evilly, and the world seemed to shut down. Soon enough, Mitsuki was unconcious. That was until.....
