"The Daystone... I wonder what would happen if I had it," Thought Mitsuki while staring at the creaky cabin door. She thought it was crazy that he had brought Lurin and Toruko on the ship. Or at least she thought so. She hoped so; yet she didn't really like the idea of all of her friends going through all this and meeting the horrid crew. Then, a hand pulled her shoulder backwards a little. Then, she saw the familiar image of the captain.
"Aah!" She jumped a little and turned around.
"You haven't been doing any work. Make yourself useful." He said, and shoved a bucket and a sponge in her face. Trying to change the subject, Mitsuki asked, "U-um... why do you never use your cutlass?"
"Because I don't need to," He raised his arm and an orange orb formed.
Mitsuki flinched. She immediately kneeled down and started scrubbing the floor with all her strength and speed.
"Very well," said Plague. He then turned back around and walked back to his cabin.
"Where on earth did hecome from? He just appeared behind me!" Thought Mitsuki.
"Are you questioning my actions?" He said, stopping in his tracks.
"He can read my mind?" Thought Mitsuki. "N-no, Captain."
"Liar."
"Oh! I get it know... it must be another one of those 'tests'," Thought Mitsuki. But a sudden urge to argue with him hit her right in the face. She knew what would come of it though. She was ready.
"Why are you doing all this?! Don't think I didn't see you last night, carrying my friends like that! I swear if you don't tell me this instant, I will tear your filthy little face right off!" She shouted, the words scraping against her aching throat.
"I'm sorry?"
"You heard me, you proud idiot!" Retorted Mitsuki. To her surprise just stared at her for a few seconds and started chuckling deeply. Then he sighed, and suddenly he was standing a few centimetres away from her. She could feel his cold breath on ger face. Then she regretted all she had ever done since she was born with a sour gulp. Something pulled her. A sort of unknown force dragged her slowly toward the cabin, gaining more and more strength by the second. Plague just stood and watched, looking rather pleased. Then the door swung open, and Mitsuki hit the back wall with a sharp and painful thud, in unison with the door slamming shut again. She froze. Wide, terrified, glowing eyes scanned the room. Something, or someone moved. Then her eyes finally adjusted to the dark.
"Lurin?" She croaked.
