Rumi had tried everything. All of the spells, enchantments, potions. She just couldn't do it.
"Telepathy sucks!" She said, breaking the chain of focus."Wait.... maybe Mitsuki isn't in the underworld!" Rumi's face lit up for a second. She flipped eagerly through the spellbook.
"Aah!"she said as she flipped to the right page. She heated up the stove and grabbed a jar.
About ten minutes later, Rumi came back holding her nose and turned off the stove. A surprisingly thin, amber looking potion bubbled. Cautiously, Rumi took the jar and took a deep breath. She gulped it down quickly, and it was tangy and wierd, but the taste didn't last too long. All of a sudden, Lurin burst in.
"No! Rumi! Don't drink-" but it was too
late. Rumi was concentrating, staring hard at the wall with a completely blank expression. She could hear sounds of crackling footseps and rustling. In her mind, Rumi said,"Mitsuki! Are you there? Mitsuki? It's me, Rumi. Hello?" but nothing happened. She concentrated even harder, to the point that she couldn't even see the wall anymore.
"Mitsuki! It's me, Rumi. Where are you?" She said.
"R-Rumi?" Came a quiet voice in her head.
"Mitsuki? Where are you? I haven't seen you in ages!"
"I don't know.... there was a.... a...." Mitsuki's voice trailed away into silence.
"Mitsuki! Are you still there?" Rumi said.
"I....mmmhhh....Village.... talk to.... talk...."
"A village! Where is it?"
"It's....right over....it's....on...."
"Hello? Mitsuki?"
"....Wierd...AARRGGH! There's a village full of mist and they're sick and its orange magic and need help....nooo....n-no" Said Mitsuki.
Rumi shook her head abrubtly.
"Pack your bags! Let's go find Mitsuki!!!"
