Rumi crouched uncomfortably behind the corner of a boulder. She had saw the crew walking by one of the market stalls earlier and they almost saw her. "They're probably looking for me," she thought,"And I shouldn't trust most of the things Mitsuki says. God knows what they've done to her at this point."
Slowly, she lifted herself onto her numb legs and crept over to where the shore was. It was only a rather small island, and it looked like the crew was heading back now. Should she risk it? However she managed to do it, Rumi convinced herself that she would get on no matter what. She crept closer, ad saw the last person climbing onto the ship. To her surprise, they just went to sit down and did nothing except for maybe say a couple of words to eachother. Yes! Now she could ealisy climb on without them noticing. But was it that easy? Rather hesitantly, Rumi dived in and swam over to the ship. Then, once her limbs felt like they were about to fall off, she reached out a hand and held onto the ladder. Unfortunately to not be seen, she would have to hang on until they set sail, without rest for her tired body, and she had no clue when they would. Right. If there was some way to talk to Mistuki without a potion! Rumi tried focusing, but the strain in her arms and the seagulls were just too loud. "Damn it!" She groaned under her breath. But she had an idea. What if she could throw something across the ship to distract them while she climbed on? That would me she would have to sneak around very quickly though. A sleek bead of seawater dripped down her soaked fringe. Carefully reaching with one hand into her pocket, Rumi grabbed a small pebble and streched up to throw it. Thud! Thud! The pebble rolled about on the deck.
"Hey! Who's there?" A man walked towards the edge of the ship and picked up the pebble. He tossed it from hand to hand, then leaned over to see who was there. Rumi, on the other hand, was desperately struggling to shuffle herself with only her hands across so that she couldn't be seen. She turned the corner. As she climbed up to try and open the window, one of her her hands slipped and she swayed from side to side, trying not to fall. A strange rustle eas coming from behind her. What could it have been? There was only water surrounding her. Exactly. A huge wave was rushing towards her and uf she didn't hurry, she would fall straight into the sea, and who knows what would happen then. Rumi desperately swung her aching limbs to try and hold onto the margin with both hands, but it was already too late. The wave was relentlessly swallowing up every scrap of weed in its way. Crash! Thud! Rumi fell and hut herself on every side. But she didn't fall? She couldn't fall. A green hand grabbed her leg through the window of the cabin, and then another, and pulled her in. Then the green hands suddenly poofed away and her eyes adjusted to the shocking sight.
