Stiles was used to everything going bad and then getting worse. He was used to everyone being evil and out to get him. What he didn't expect was Haley Darby. A seemingly normal girl who, admittedly, had caught his attention before. She stumbled into...

Hayley was tired. She had spent the night trekking through Beacon Hills forest with Allison in search for Boyd and the girls name was apparently Cora, Derek's sister. It made sense that they were related, Hayley had noticed the similarities between them instantly and hoped they weren't similar on strength. They were practically hunting these werewolves.
Allison had dragged her out once they were in the car. She was responsible for letting them loose and felt she should be responsible for tracking them down too. This meant Hayley had to help too.
She felt she wasn't too much help though. Hayley was inexperienced and looked like a lost puppy following Allison round as she asked question on what she was doing. It was natural for the girl to be curious she couldn't help it, even if she should be quiet.
Hayley felt this was more than just tracking the werewolves. Scott had told Allison about his mom trying to kill him before she died. She had got bit by Derek and cause of the Argent's stupid honour code she killed herself. Hayley thought it was stupid, no one should be that invested in hunting werewolves and to be completely honest she was disgusted at it. She felt Allison was putting all her emotions into this to not have to deal with them but didn't question it.
They had followed the werewolves to the high school.
God, my dream is coming more and more true, she thought.
Allison had suggested they split up and catch one werewolf each and before Hayley could protest against the idea she had ran off, her arrows placed on her back. See that's the thing, Hayley didn't have a weapon. Maybe her weird power thing grew beyond healing people but she didn't know yet and now would have been the perfect time to. Damn you imperfect timing.
She felt vulnerable as she walked across the carpark. Her shoulders were hunched and she kept checking her surroundings expecting something to come out the dark. It was as if she was living a nightmare; a very real nightmare.
Howls filled the unusual silence and Hayley looked up to the full moon. It was ominous and set her on edge. A puff of smoke appeared as she breathed through her nose and she rubbed her hands to warm herself up a bit.
She didn't have enough time to grab a thicker jacket.
When the wolves howled again it felt closer, louder and Hayley could feel her pulse quicken at the sound. She could feel her heartbeat thumping through her whole body, it pulsating until it was all she could hear.
Hayley covered her ears trying to muffle the sound. This meant she didn't hear growling as the sound grew closer. Before she could turn round a figure lunged at her pinning her to the floor. She had no escape. She was trapped.
The figure was a women. Cora. And Hayley let out a shallow breath; her dream had yet again become real.
