It was currently 9 and since Benny invited me to join the guys at the sandlot I decided to take up the offer . I put on a tank top with some baggy overalls paired with my black converse and my black Yankees cap . I then grabbed my bat and mitt and made my way to the sandlot.

"Hey look there's Elle !" Exclaimed squints , I think the guys like me and I'm happy that they except me . "Hey squints , how you doing ?" I then winked , Benny was right beside him and I thought I'd try his (move) on squints . It kinda worked because squints turned a crimson red and he just stood there . "Goo-d ." However Bennyman was not having it "Elle did you just steal my move and try it on squints !!?" I started to laugh and he cracked a smile "yes indeed I did and I think it works better when I use it ." Benny just shook his head but then yeah-yeah came over "aw cmon squints stop perving a dish didn't you have enough with Wendy last summer ??" Squints remained red but this time from anger "hey hey what happened last summer ?" Everyone looked at me and started to chuckle . Finally Benny spoke up ." You see squints here played a low trick on Wendy when she a was a lifeguard , he faked drowning and got her to do CPR on him and then laid a big slob on her ." My eyes grew wide and squints had such a proud smile . "Wow squints really brave move did she beat your ass ?" He then laughed "no just banned us ." I then turned to Benny "see now that's a move , and he's younger then you benji ." Everyone erupted in fits of laughter but Benny just stared at me wide eyed . "Hey hey I didn't want to place such a desperate move on a chick ." Squints however seemed pleased with what he did .

"Hey Benny man it's too hot out we can't play ball today !!" Ham came rushing over . "Yeah-yeah this cola ain't working ." "Fine what do you guys wanna do ?" Benny said . Yeah-yeah erupted an evil laugh before saying "a new pool opened up and it's not that far of a walkkkkk." All they guys smirked and screamed "TIME TO SCAM POOL HONEYSS!!!" Which made me give them a look of disgust . " fine fine go get ready and meet back here in 15 ." Benny stated , we all went back home .

I took my white tote bag and filled it up with sunscreen , an extra shirt , my hairbrush and my towel . I put on my black high waisted bikini and put a flannel and some shorts over it . I then walked to the sandlot . "Hey Shelly what took you so long we've been waitingggg." I just looked at them "yeah-yeah whatever just let's go to the pool." Alan then looked at me "hey she just stole my line HEY Elle where you going !?!" I laughed as I walked in front of yeah-yeah .
