Chapter-69
(I will and I have too… wait)
Making a girl fall in love “again!!!!” is the toughest job any human can ever do.
Nisha now totally forgot about my love towards her or may be acting that she doesn’t love me anymore, either ways she want to be away from me but the next big task I have in front of me is sweep her off her feet by not only stealing her heart but giving mine as well.
I have seen every number in my wall clock repeating itself twice but I haven’t received a single text from Nisha.

“This is a theodolite, an instrument used to measure remote distance and heights, standing at an accessible point.” Mr. Mahesh our surveying laboratory professor said with a huge crowd surrounded around the machine him and I was standing just beside him.
Surveying is a laboratory involving in various works like surveying land areas, finding its elevations and depressions, calculating remote distance and heights. This lab is unlike other lab’s sitting either in front of a computer or working with machines. It involves doing it practically on field and we usually do it in our college ground measuring heights of trees by looking from the telescope fitted to the machine during the presence of Lecturer and often when he leaves it turns to be machine to look at remote girls in the canteen. And this is properly explained by many of my friends saying that both involve finding remote distances.
“This is the vernier scale, which gives you the angle….” While Mr. Mahesh was about to complete
“You have a tiny text message a very tiny one. Please read it.” My phone shouted.
This situation is called mother of mixed feelings. I don’t know whether I should be happy for getting a text from Nisha or I should be worried about the disturbance I caused in the middle of lecture.
But somehow as the class was submerged in knowing about the instrument, I slowly sneaked out of the crowd and started checking the text.
“This very start of the day,
be happy for the breath of fresh air.
Be thankful for the goodness that surrounds you.
Most of all thank God for this beautiful friendship that you and I share.”I read it once and read it again. Friendship this word is marking a boundary and indeed this should turn into love. That is what the next big thing standing in front of me.
It becomes a questionable situation when you receive a forward message and you don’t know how to answer it. Moreover for a person like me who is new in using mobile phones it becomes even more difficult.
I thought for a while and typed
“Good morning Nish…, what are you doing?”
By the time Mr. Mahesh completed his explanation and left the ground and my friends are busy playing with the theodolite, I was holding my mobile in hand waiting for Nisha’s reply.
It takes a huge fortitude to be patient in love. Moreover it is not being patient it also depends on how your attitude is, while you are waiting.
I kept looking at my wrist watch and suddenly Mr. Chary one of our professors shouted “There is still 15 minutes time for lunch break, if you are feeling very hungry, go jump into canteen kitchen.”
Now what should I answer him? I thought silence would answer better so I kept my mouth shut and threw a stupid smile at him.
Maths is that one subject which excites me and after the lunch around 1.30 pm I was immersed in doing mathematics problems during mathematics class and suddenly my phone vibrated.
