THE LAST CONVERSATION

     Chapter-39

(The last Conversation.)

I walked close to her and as soon as she noticed me her eyes widened I don’t know whether it is due to love or fear ,she stood up and started walking away from me.

She took her bicycle and started walking away from exam centre and I followed her.

“Stop coming behind me AJ” She shouted with all her voice broken into tears.

“Talk to me once.”

“I don’t think there is anything left to talk with you AJ, it’s all over.”

“What is over? You stop walking and talk with me once.” I shouted aloud. 

          She stopped walking and turned towards me with her eyes filled with tears.

“I don’t want to hear any excuses AJ, I know this will not work.” she said with all her tears rolling down.

          A girls tears can make a mans mouth blunt with no words.

 And even I couldn’t speak a single word as her tears made my mouth blunt with no words.

“Understand me please…!!”

“What should I understand you AJ , I am going insane in your thoughts . Do you know how many times I have passed from your home and your exam centre? Do you know how much I cried for you? Do you know how many times I called you?” she said and started walking away rubbing her tears with left hand and holding her cycle with right hand.

“God damn, listen to me once.” I shouted

“What is there to listen? Do you want to explain me how you betrayed me AJ?” she shouted even louder.

“BETRAYED!!!??”

“Ok, do you think that you alone cried all these day? I bared the same pain and even more. What is the reason for you to call me so many times? Don’t you know that my people will be around me? They now even know completely about you.”

“Oh….!! I am sorry AJ, so you are neither worried about missing me nor being separated, you are just worried about you parents knowing about our love.”

“It’s not like that, why don’t you understand me. I was in all ways blocked I dint have any means to meet you, my parents were angry for so many wrong calls, what would you do if you were in my position. You said not to call your home unless you tell and when you keep calling so many times my people doubted me and moreover worried about my exams. You think you alone came to see me, I came so many times to see you but I never found you. I walked all the way to my exam hall when when i came to see you as i dint have my cycle that day. I dialled your number a thousand times but never called you as you said me not to call. There was not even a single minute I dint take you name, I did all this just because I love You.”

 “AJ , I am sorry , I dint know that you were in such a mental trauma, but just think again if you still hang on me , you will have to face even more pain.”

“I am ready to bare that pain”

“Stop it AJ, we are not kids anymore, let us be mature in thoughts.”

          She parked her cycle and took my hand into her and walked towards a bench.
