A DAY I WOULD LIKE TO FORGET.

                       

                        Chapter-31

               (A Day I would like to forget)

On a cool monsoon Saturday with a very few attending the class including the teacher as she was on leave too, I encountered my girl.

“So you are don’t want to see me?” my girl asked me while I was looking away from her.

I remained quiet.

Sometimes you encounter a situation which you would never expect in your wildest dreams. Life is like that. It pulls you down to that situation which you would never expect and keep you there until you try get up. Life is filled with twists and turns. When you feel it to be completely fine you will encounter a hurdle with in a blink of an eye.  I truly never expected this situation in my life. 

“Did I ever feel bad when you were charming other girls around?”

“Did I say you any time that I come early mornings just to see you?”

“Did I say you that I just thrive every second to hold your hand?”

“Did I say you ………………” and she started crying.

“You took 1 week to come to me, you dint knew all this after one day after I started avoiding you?”

“So you think I was charming other girls? Show me one.”

“You can’t! Because I wasn’t behind anyone like you.”

“And I guess you know that I am always 5 minutes early waiting in class to see you daily morning.” I said with my eyes still looking away from her.

“What did you just say?”

“I am behind someone?”  “How dare you say that?” “What made you think like that?” she said with her tears rolling down from her two eyes and meeting at her chin.

“It’s not me, everyone thinks that  ...” “I am saying how close you started to be with him “

“Do you know it’s since how many days we walked back home together? “

“You don’t, because you never bothered.” “And on the top of it, did you know that you missed a day called Valentine’s Day in between?” “You never…! “ “You never bothered me “I said with my head down.

“So you say talking with sudeep is a crime? “She asked me wiping her tears.

“Who god damn said that it’s a crime, but you need to know what are the persons intentions before you start talking with him.”

“He is writing letters to you? What does that mean?”  I asked now looking into her eyes straight.

“Sudeep said he want to improve his English and as he is a bit weak in it. He asked me to read his letters and correct it, which is what all he wants?” she said with her innocent eyes blinking at me.

 I laughed and said “Improve English?” “Don’t you feel it weird saying? So he thinks writing to you will improve his English?” “Stop being a fool.” Look Outside.”

//   Sudeep was walking in the corridor trying to get an ear on our conservation   //.

“So what is he doing out there?” I asked my with my eyebrows raised.

“I dint knew this AJ, I seriously dint knew anything about this. I always treated him like a good friend and moreover like my brother.”

“BROTHER??????? “ I said and I started laughing until my eyes are filled with tears.

“Yes brother. Why are you laughing?” my girl asked.

“Ok. Go and say him then “I said.

She started walking and I got hold of her hand pulled close to me and holding her face with my both hands I said “ Not now, he will die if he listen that, let him be in your trans for few more days. “

“Remember one thing dear, outside world is not filled with Rainbows and sunshine. It’s filled with mean people who always try to keep you on your knees. They literally never let you raise up. They like to hunt you like wolves without any morale. You need to take care of you by yourself , today I am with you to say you this but after few days if I am not be with you…”she cut me off with her hands trying to stop these words.

“Never say that AJ, you will be always with me, do you feel that I dint bother about you this one week? I was always with you. I was always tried to get a glance of you every second in class. I crossed your home at least 4 times in a day. You don’t know all this, you just shout on me. And this is the first time you shouted on me, I am very sad.” she said holding my shirt collar and her face lying on my chest.

“I love you “I said.

“I love you too AJ she said and I never want this to happen between us, I am never going to leave you again. “
