[11/10/2044] 7:30 P.M. Park Seonghwa >>> The Elite
"How do you feel??" The female asks, her voice soft and gentle; soothing. Park Seonghwa feels a tender hand on his shoulder, the nice gesture is something he hasn't experienced for a very long time and it reminds him of a time when he once had a loving family that cared for him a lot, then lost to a single wicked man...
"I feel.. alright??" He answers, semi-unsure because he's feeling many different things at the current moment, but exhaustion is what's more prominent. He feels tired and sleepy and also very weak; and fatigued.
"Do you feel heavy?? Tired? Perhaps, disoriented even??" She asks again and Seonghwa feels that there is someone else behind her, standing dormant and not moving an inch, perhaps it's an Android? Seonghwa can't the face of the woman taking care of him nor does he know who she is (if she's a human or a Bot). He can't see anything around him because there is a device in the shape of Blade sunglasses covering his eyes and obscuring everything to protect them from any artificial and natural light that can mess with the chip and his currently fragile brain. He can only rely on his other senses and put them on high alert— for all he knows, anyone from Hangyeol's side could be here, ready to kill him.
"Yes, I do feel a little bit tired and.. sleepy??" He admits it could be because the anesthesia is still running in his bloodstream, or perhaps the doctors touched a nerve??
"Okay, that's understandable. Can you sit up for me please??" She politely asks and shifts her place.
Seonghwa obeys her request and slowly begins to push himself up, but as soon as he's no longer resting he sees explosions of fireworks in front of his vision and feels lightning in his brain, flashes of undecipherable images appear right in front of him and soon a man dressed in white and silver stares at him with a burning tree right behind him. The man tilts his head and smiles menacingly at him.
Seonghwa's body jerks violently and he nearly falls from his bed in shock, if not for the female and the other person holding him back. He gasps for air as the image of the man disappears from his vision, leaving the darkness to engulf him and the seething pain to burn him. He was not sure of what he'd just seen but it terrified him to his core...
"Are you feeling all right??" The female asks with concern clear in her voice, reminding Seonghwa that he's not alone in the room.
He holds onto someone's arm — not sure if it's the female or the Android — and tries to stabilize himself. He breathes and tries to calm himself down, the fireworks and electricity in his brain not leaving him. All of this reminds him of the time he underwent emergency surgery and the post-trauma. This is why he never agreed to have his eyeballs swapped or let anything prosthetic inside his body, the pain and aftermath of it is simply too much for him to handle.
