Song Mingi silently watches Yunho meditate in front of him, eyes closed with a subtle mechanical hum coming from him. They're both currently alone in his room, having just finished their training about three hours ago and had their lunch inside his room.
Today they re-attempted the Mad Dogs' HQ prototype infiltration because they failed to access the ServerRooms on the 9th underground floor due to Wooyoung literally plugging someone's eyes out, presumably because the person grabbed his ass in the dance floor where he was supposed to keep his eyes on one of the gang's officials. Mingi found it hilarious and so did Yunho and the rest, but Hongjoong was slightly tipped off and called him out for it, saying that he couldn't do this in the real world to which Wooyoung just brushed his words off and rolled his eyes.
Mingi did not mind re-doing the mission, he honestly found it fun because it relied heavily on stealth and some cunning tactics to manipulate the gang members and slip away into the underground levels. Also, working with Sarah proved to be something that he enjoyed because the female captain is quick and snappy and she understands him just by looking at his eyes— she's truly professional at team play. But what he didn't like about the mission was that he had to get inside the vents and crawl through, which literally terrified him and made him want to die.
They thankfully succeeded in the retake (Wooyoung did not plug anyone's eyes out this time) and they got what they needed from the ServerRooms, with everything going smoothly with no problems whatsoever.
After the training session, the three operatives told Yeosang and Seonghwa to stay with them while dismissing the rest to go and take a shower or do as they pleased. Mingi was starving by that time and he had Yunho order lunch and eat it in his room. Mingi didn't mind having his lunch in his room and not on the table with the rest (which is usually what they do), he's actually very happy not having to sit anywhere near San— the man genuinely freaks him out. The assassin has this cold look on his face that's so emotionless and unreadable even, his golden eyes burning anyone they land on. The man is an enigma that Mingi would rather leave undiscovered because he knows that there are millions of things about San that would keep him up at night.
Mingi enjoyed having his lunch with Yunho all alone, he got to talk and hear many things from the cyborg. It was very interesting and quite unique for Mingi, he really liked it when Yunho spoke about his many races and what happened in them as well. Yunho told him about his Toyota Supra that he vividly remembers as the holographic car that he got in— he knew that she had a name which is Aurora and even though her model was 'old' but her gear was all brand new and she was a beast. Mingi would have continued to listen if not for the older stopping and saying that he needs to quickly meditate and let his system configure itself out, claiming that a minor error warning popped up for him.
