His eyes are glued to the screen in front of him as he tries to comprehend what went on in this 1-minute execution video. He sees a half-naked man tied down to a chair, chains wrapped around him to make sure that he doesn't move an inch. The identity of the man is barely visible because of the thick white paint on his face, drawn in a way to resemble a skull with his eyes sewn shut, disabling him from seeing his surroundings and the identity of the one who captured him. Kim Hongjoong sees his mouth moving, but can't hear what he's saying because the video was released mostly muted, with absolutely no context to it.
The man closes his mouth shut and sits still in his place. Another person appears in the video— a man— dressed in all-black with his head not captured in the limited frame of the camera. He stands right beside the tied man, allowing the camera to capture his entire front, and in his hand is a gold-plated lighter that he flips open and flicks on, making sure to show the blue glowing flame to the camera.
The tied man feels the flame of the lighter, and he leans as far away from it as possible. The abductor brings the lighter closer to his face and lights his entire head on fire, quickly making him scream in horror and pain.
From exactly 0:15 until the 0:59 mark, the video is unmuted to let everyone hear the blood-curdling screams with the only thing shown being the victim's head on fire with him screaming and wiggling in the chair— his head going everywhere. At some point in the video, he rips his eyelids open and his eyes are wide in pain, something in the way his white pearly eyes stand out from the red flame and the blackness of his face sends shivers down Hongjoong's spine and haunts him. He frantically turns his head around and finally looks up at his abductor.
The skin of the victim's face melts and falls on his lap and the ground, the pink muscles turning red and then black from the flames eating it. The only thing that's still intact is the white paint that resembles the skull under the blue, red, and orange fire around it.
At 0:59 the video cuts and a flash of a text message appears on the screen before the video ends at exactly 1:00.
"Return back a second and pause when the text appears," Hongjoong orders, standing behind the hacker with his hands on his hips.
Yeosang obeys his order and goes back about 57 milliseconds to when the text is fully displayed on the black screen.
