Chapter 8:Worried with benefits

I knocked at Kaori-san's room but there are no respond maybe she's asleep already,I hoped that we discuss what should we do for tomorrow.

When I was just about to go back to my room I saw Kaori-san outside.

I went closer to see what she was doing until a loud roar of motor coming fast and closer near to Kaori-san I was about to pull her thinking it'll crash in to her when suddenly it stopped,I immediately went back to my hiding place.

When I looked back again it was the Brothers that was in the bike they're meeting with Kaori-san? This got to be good.

"This got to be important" Kaori-san said then placed her hand on her waist,Rindo went down the bike while his brother still sitting and took over Rindo's position.

Rindo looked Kaori-san from head to toe,front and back and the moment he finished inspecting her,he stood properly.

"Good thing you're alrigh—" he got cut off when Kaori-san gave him a good hit at the head,she must've not like the way Rindo just suddenly looked at her up and down.

"Don't just roam your eyes around my body!It's creepy!" She said with her fist facing Rindo but he immediately stood back up,Ran looked away trying to hold back his giggle.

"Damn Lady!That hurts for real" Rindo said while holding the top of his head "Let's finish this quickly!and say what you wanna say!" Kaori-san said in a total Irritated voice.

"Where's the closed eye guy?" He must be referring to me "He's inside want me to call him?"

Rindo just shook his head "No need just tell him this after" and went back to the bike.

"There was a murder discovered next door back in the penthouse just 2 hours ago there are police there right now" this time Ran talked while sitting on the bike side ways.

Kaori-san stayed quite for a moment with a plain face,Could it be related to the—

"The wife of the guy who disappeared months ago was the victim" Ran continued

"I made Rindo text you guys if you are alright since we separated not long since that happened"

Kaori-san's eyebrows met "Then why did you both went here? I texted back and said we're alright" She said with a confused tone.

Ran just pointed his brother while smiling wickedly the latter flinched and looked away "I just wanted to know if they're really alright! It'll be our responsibility if something happens to them because we invited them over!"

Ran just leaned to his brother while still wickedly smiling meanwhile Kaori-san's face crumpled more.

'you really are bad at reading this kind of codes Kaori-san' I muttered to my self Kaori-san isn't really the type to care about this things since she's girl of a steel.

"Well we just checked if you're—both of you are alright!We'll go now" Rindo said while avoiding making eye contact and started his Bike "Another thing,Your invitation pass would still work the police didn't restrict Visitors to keep coming in" Ran said then waved goodbye.

Kaori-san sighted and turned back to the Inn.When she got near me I showed up to her making her jump back,when she realized it was me she fixed her composure.

"You're still awake,since when are you there?"

"The moment the brothers arrived"

"You should've showed up earlier,anyways you heard what they said?"

I nodded "It must have connected to the disappearance of his husband,maybe they have the same suspect?"

She touched her chin "Ran said the Invitation pass would still work till tomorrow so we'll get in the building and to the penthouse's floor without worries"

She looked back at me with a serious plain face "Let's go there first thing in the morning" I nodded in response.

Well this Investigation just became more interesting and dangerous this is the type of mission Kaori-san likes.

But something bothered me,If this was related why did the suspect did the murder to the wife 3 months later?

We'll find out tomorrow for now we'll need to prepare our brain for more draining.

"Welcome back!" My mom greeted me as soon as she saw me come in.

I sat down the dining table and joined my sister who was already finished eating "What happened to your investigation?" She said in a cold tone.

"I found out somethings and i'll continue tomorrow" I said then started eating.

"Don't disappoint me Akihiro if you don't get to solve this case i'll make sure you don't get a single step inside the 4 houses" She said then took her things and headed out.

She gave me her authority and made the police allow me to investigate a case of a missing man.

She never comes home but when she do nothing good will probably came out of it like this case,She went home just make me solve a case that if didn't get to solve will probably turn my whole life upside down.

She's a detective that graduated at the same University i'm studying now,When she reach High school she was accepted at one of the Houses on QED course.

Our school was divided into 2 parts 10 years ago,The Regular Class and QED course,The regular class is were those normal students study from elementary to High School and the QED course is where aspiring Detectives apply the students there are separated into 4 parts.

Holmes,Moriarty,Watson,Adlers.

You could only get in if you pass the entrance exam then you'll get either to the house your mostly suited or to the house you wanted but if you didn't pass you'll just stay at the Regular class.

The QED course has special area that was made for them along with the Dorms that is separated by House,Kimono that is also separated and based by what house you belong along with the separated building from the regular class.

The houses doesn't really matter to me.I like to control and make people move the way I wanted them to but to my sister who graduated there it's just like breathing to her.

She never went home here since she was in high school but to our surprise she went here personally and gave me this challenge,after I solve this i'm planning to join QED club and solve real cases.

I went back to my room as soon as i'm done eating,Aside from the case the guy that I met at the bathroom earlier seemed to be doing something more than peeing when he went inside I saw him in the campus before i'm sure of it he must have been investigating about the disappearance too and base on his reaction earlier he's familiar with me.

I'll head back to the Roppongi Hills and check if he's there again i'd need to solve this case without anyone interfering so if he's trying to get in my way I need to push him out.
