Chapter 31:Choosen

KAORI

As expected as soon as I stepped inside out house my House mates came calling me.

"Ah!House leader!Welcome back!"

"House leader here's my report about the case I solved" One of my junior handed me a two page back to back paper,I checked it before nodding to her.

I went back to my room to check my other works but most of it are in the QED club and even though I want to rest I went straight to the club room.

Akihiro welcome me as soon as I came in the club room shit my day just become more bad.

"Oh you're back" He said but I just shove my hands and walked in the separate office for Club press.

"Oh Aoi you're here" I called Aoi's attention although she's busy writing something on the paper and beside her was Akari who seemed to be teaching her things.

She nodded at me and stood up and pulled some papers beside her "This is the cases that was already approved by the other positions it'll just need your go signal"

I flipped the paper's pages and checked it all one by one,I nodded "Ok i'll leave this to Nikka she'll give this cases to everyone and tell her this should be done in one to two weeks"

"Also Nee-san the acquaintance party is in 4 weeks you should at least finish most of this"

Oh yeah,The acquaintance party one of the time of the year where all of the houses comes together before the test starts and vacation and it's also the alternate of school festival.

I prepared to check the papers one by one when the door opened and it spitted Akihiro with Bishu

"Holmes—President we'll be going now" Akihiro said and I nodded "Doing some scouting before the case?Sure" They both smiled at me "As expected of holmes we'll be going now" I raised my head to them and shooed them away Akihiro laughed and closed the door.

I continued checking and reading the mountain of paper's in my office and didn't even notice that it's pass 8 until Shota and Aoi brought me dinner.

"It's 8:40 pm Holmes you should rest a little" Shota said in worried tone,Aoi immediately swiped aside my works so I could focus on eating.

"No leave it there,Eat." She ordered so I shrugged my shoulders and began eating the curry they brought.

They both sat beside me quietly watching me eat I looked up to both of them and they seemed that they already ate so I didn't bother asking them.

After a few seconds I noticed Shota seemed to be hesitating to ask me something so I stared at him and shook my head.

'I know what you want to ask me,not while Aoi is here'

He sigh and leaned at the chair his sitting.I finished eating and immediately stared to finish the works that I paused earlier.

Before leaving the room Shota looked at me worriedly not because of me overworking but something else I shook my hands shooing him away he took a last sigh before officially leaving the room.

Though I wanted to continue my work I was kinda tensed by how Shota's worrying about me well I can't bring my self to explain it to him yet but I'll definitely try,He's the first person that I could trust about this.

I leaned on my chair and faced the window and looked up to the sky resting my mind for a moment until I accidentally fell asleep,was I that tired?

Though I didn't met up with Ran earlier since i've got many things to do well at least right now I had time so I asked him to meet me at the roof top of the hospital that i'm working.
