Chapter 43:Gifts

The ceremony didn't even took longer than 2 and a half hours to finish so we before going back home to celebrate I headed first to my house since the juniors been asking us to visit there first.

Shota along with my other co-3rd years on the house of holmes looked at each other before entering the house.

They welcomed us with a congratulations and cakes for each of us.

"Congrats on graduating senpai's!" They greeted us one by one.

Here at QED course graduation on highschool is more celebrated than collage since being a collage student is almost equal on being a full time detective.

We graduates got pulled by the others on different directions as they welcomed us with bunch of thing such as gifts and chats.

"Here you are senpai!Although I was kinda hesitating to give you one since I thought someone might given you this I think" A junior said shyly handed me a small paper bag.

I looked trough the bag seeing a box of neck lave i opened it and I was kinda fascinated that I didn't wanna open it fully first.

"Can I look at this one later?" I asked them,Which they immediately nodded.

"Your boyfriend is rich right Senpai?I bet he's giving you a lot of expensive things everytime" Another junior said but I shook my head in disagreement.

Rindo may be rich but I for-bided him from giving me gifts from time to time since I didn't really like having so much things at my room.

"Nope I didn't allow him and you're supposed to easily deduct that if you know already this much about me?" I jokingly challenged them.

They faked dropped sad "Sorry senpai...we'll work our deducting skills more"

I just laughed and ate those foods they prepared for us and just after a few here and there Shota called me and told me we should head off.

I bid farewell on everyone and headed out.

"They're so much energetic" Shota said happily trying to carry the gift given to him "Yeah" I shortly answered.

Before we reached our house gate I saw Akihiro,Megumi and Akari waiting maybe for me outside there,My first detective squad.

"Happy graduation" I greeted them and signaled Shota that he can go ok ahead without me.

They bowed and greeted back at me,They four stayed quite as they hesitated to give me what Akari has been hiding this whole time.

"Sigh...Just give it to her Aka" Akihiro said.

She turned to Megumi and she nodded at her making her nod and turn back to me showing me the gift she had in hands.

It was a little box "For our squad leader since our first squad" She said.

I accepted the gift looking at the three of them securing this isn't any type of prank,and when I confirmed I turned back to the box slowly opening it.

A key.

"We actually didn't know what to give you so we gathered our thoughts and decided this" Megumi explained as I picked up the key slowly.

"This way Kaori-san" Bishu who suddenly showed up pointed to the school parking lot,So I took the path making them follow me.

I guess Bishu was also in this huh?

I walked through the corner where Bishu was pointing and a black Bugatti Veryon.

I gasped and looked back at the four of them "Shut up...." I was shocked.
