Chapter 10:Her Prowness

RINDO

After beating those guys who tried to attack us we went to the supermarket to buy necessary thing for later,Earlier I asked my brother if he can call Kaori and her friend over but he ended up pissing her off so there's a high chance she won't show up.

"Say Rindo,think they'll show up?" My brother asked me while picking up some snacks and putting in the cart "Nah,she looks totally irritated earlier" I answered while pushing the cart.

"Yeah,totally but isn't that like her mood 24/7?" He said while chuckling,Well even though we just met yesterday I noticed that too while walking and cooking and when we waited for her friend at the café it totally looked like her 24/7 mood.

But while we were cooking she seemed to have calm down and have a totally different expression and she even ignored those things that made her annoyed so I have a feeling she'll show up.

After getting all the necessary and just about to get meat we heard a high pitched scream from our back,Could it be.....noway.

"KYAAAAAAAA,Ran-chan~" A girl with a long hair came running towards my brother and clinged to him like a magnet can't believe one of those girls will even show up here.

"Kyaaaa~i'm so glad to see you" I tried to walk away from them but the girl suddenly turned up to me "Rindo-chan you're ignoring me?" She said in a pouting tone,I really don't like this type of girls but for some reason Aniki keeps them around.

"Aoi he's not in the mood right now" See? He keeps them company and as usual i'll just ignore them and went on.

"Ran-chan you should have told me that you'll be coming here" She continued while still pouting,Gross.

"Well things been busy lately"

"Kyaa,What are you buying here?Ingredients?" She went over the cart i'm pushing and looked to me "Want me to help you cook Rindo-chan?" I hoped she won't talk to me but here she is.

I just continued picking some meat and fish,After this we'll pay then leave I hope she doesn't follow us anymore.

"We have someone to cook over" She turned to my brother and did the annoying pout again "Ehhhh?i'm a good cook you know~" she said.

"I'll cook something more good than who ever is that going over you guys"

"Nah,You won't probably reach her cooking skills" I was thinking out loud now my brother is smiling at me again and the girl named Aoi gave a shocked impression I just ignored them and pushed the cart to the cashier.

Shit.I was thinking about the food yesterday and my minds all messed up now well at least the girl who's clinging to my brother shuts up but she's still clinging to him.

After paying we headed out the store and walked back to Roppongi Hills and to my surprise Aniki still keeps her with us,this is my I sometimes gets a fight with him.

It's 11:40 and we stopped by a café to have some drinks and the Aoi girl is still with us,now thatI remembered she told us about their investigation earlier about the murder next door,I wonder if she's still there.

When we were about to leave the café my phone suddenly vibrated and when I looked at the sender surprisingly it was an unregistered number i opened the message and

UNKNOWN NUMBER:
Good afternoon Rindo-kun this is Bishu,Kaori-san lended me your number to tell you that we won't be making it this lunch and we'll probably won't make it on dinner either.

That was the most formal message I've received so far and it was from Bishu,so they won't be making it huh?I guess she planned to come in the first place.

YOU:
Sure,just tell me whenever you guys are free.

Wonder if they're still on going on their investigation.

UNKNOWN NUMER:
We'll make sure to come,Kaori-san wanted to finish this investigation as soon as possible she seemed to have found a rival.

A rival?In investigation snd deducting probably hard we'll i'm not that smart my self so this Lady probably was more interesting that I thought,I closed my phone unknowingly smiling.

"Who was that Rindo?Why are you smiling?" I looked at Aniki who seemed to be watching me the whole time and the Aoi girl was gone.

"Just Bishu they won't be making it today he said they'll finish their investigation first then they'll come over as soon" I explained my brother gave a 'ohh look'

We went back to the Penthouse and fixed our groceries,we went out as soon as done since they won't be coming my brother and I planned to eat outside.

I tried to peek at the police line and the crime scene to check if she's still there but there wasn't a police anymore so they must've went somewhere else,We went in the elevator and went down.

We just went to eat at the main dining hall because one of our informants said that some punks was planning to gang up on us and we don't wanna lose our apatite and we won't be tasting the lady's cooking for now so we'll just stay put.

Even after eating,I'm still having a aftertaste at Kaori's food.I mean her food has perfect taste and combination of spices but it really feels like there's something more to it that meets the eye.

When we were about to leave the dining hall I happen to saw Kaori and Bishu along with another pair of Boy and girl came out the mens bathroom looking slightly shocked.

I wanted to come near them but they stoped walking and one of they boy their with pulled out a phone and talked with some one over,meanwhile Kaori seemed to be thinking about something deep,How do I tell?Her face is not the usual ready to get mad form it's calmer than usual or no..her eyes was focusing and—

"Earth to Rindo" Aniki snapped his fingers at my face,oh?was he calling me? "It's ok to stare at a girl but don't ignore your brother" He said then turned his head to Kaori and her squad's direction.

"I prefer we go to her and ruin her focused but she seemed like thinking something deep so I prefer not to get killed in the middle of a crowd" Yeaa,if we go to her and disturb her she'll probably kills us.

We decided to let them be since they mention that they'll be investigating this and they'll visit us after I prefer them telling this to us over a well done dinner.
