Chapter 44:Time Watch

I carefully but swiftly drove to Roppongi and even though it was night time most of the buildings are still lively.

I parked my car at a near free parking lot and locked it going straight to their apartment,I used the key Rindo gave me and opened their apartment.

I opened the lights and everything seemed to be normal so I didn't bother checking the living room and went straight to their room.

I carefully clicked their room's lights on.

"The room's surprisingly clean"

I walked over to the walk-in closet and checked on their clothes if they're fixed and as expected Ran's part is messier unlike Rindo's it's fixed.

I tried to fix their stuff to places since most of his clothes are getting scattered on the ground.

After I finished fixing it I went back to their main room and walked over the drawer feeling kinda excited.

I bent down and pulled the drawer picking up the only box that was there,This must be a watch.

I sat down on their bed carefully opened the box.

I gasped slightly as I carefully take the watch that was slightly heavy,I inspected it.

It was a gold watch with my last name in printed romanized on the the clasp part and my full name inside the watch below the center of the clock.

I looked at the brand of it and no need to search a thing,It was definitely one those customized things this brand is actually a jewelry store but they can make customize things like if you wanna place a jewelry on your item.

The numbers are in Roman numerals the center part was made of probably a gem the arms of the clock along with the numbers are tempered with silver.

Though I would be worried about the border part,It was all pearls.

"Seriously what with this guys buying unusual things like this" I said to my self as I wore the watch,I was about to place the box at the lamp table but I saw a paper beneath the box.

It was folded so I opened it,

I know you'll be worried if I give you something unusual but I atleast let me give you something you could use and look at all the time.

I smiled as I place back the letter,Even though it's not shown I could feel a hint of jealousy Rindo have against my time since I wasn't able to give anything much for him since I started at my course.

"Sorry Rin"

I flopped on their bed staring at the watch he gave.I've been used people giving me gift these days but they never went this far as giving me an expensive car or gold things.

But also I could feel them happy giving these things to me like they're been holding back this whole time.

I don't wanna assume as I don't remember what could I have done either to make them give me such a intense gift.

Oh well they gave it to me I should show them gratitude atleast and do a great job at my work.

Though I think i've been working hard to be a fine detective I didn't had time for anything else,I think i'll bring the brothers food before I go to my solo case.

I was busy thinking things that I didn't notice I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning feeling hot since I didn't really turned the Ac on but now I will.
