Chapter 39:Our Time

After Christmas Rindo was exited about Kaori staying at their apartment for new year and when New Years eve Aoi was with them sticking her self to Kaori.

Rindo can't do anything about that since Kaori is just letting her,She even slept beside her making him kinda jealous.

'That's my girlfriend y'know' He cried at his mind.

'Wow Aoi really changed she looked really mature now compared when he was sticking with us and also look at her she's dissing both of us whenever we try to go near Kaori' Ran thought in his mind too.

They had a small feast with what Kaori and Rindo cooked assisted by Aoi,After that they four went to the nearest shrine together to welcome new year there.

And just after new year after sleeping till sun rise Kaori and Aoi headed out since Kaori had many thing to take care and Akihiro texted to her that he solved a murder case at new years eve.

'For real?even at new years eve?' She thought as she read his report and since it was a QED student who solved that plus Akihiro being a member of QED club the others will go to them such us confirming and payments.

Kaori let Aoi head first since she looked like she needs more rest,She also asked Ran to escort her home but as usual Aoi hissed him and didn't want so they just let her be.

"Your position sure is really busy" Rindo said in a sleepy tone.

"Well yeah but it's also very interesting" Kaori said and got in the Taxi along with Rindo.

When they both were sitted properly Rindo immediately laid on her lap and closed his eyes.

"Oi Rindo that bad manners" He said gently shacking Rindo.

"Ah it's ok your boyfriend looks very sleepy" The driver chuckled and thought they both look so cute together.

"Ah Sorry mister" She bowed her head then looked at Rindo who's slightly snoring.

She sighed and took off his glasses and wrapped it on her handkerchief since it'll be bad if the lens get touch it'll leave a finger print.

The driver drove slowly and carefully thinking that the guy laying on Kaori's lap is very tired.

Kaori decided to lean on the door too as she was also tired since she didn't get enough sleep but she was immediately drifted to a nap as she close her eyes.

By the time she has slept Rindo opened his one eye looking at Kaori whose sleeping peacefully he carefully sat up and leaned her head on his shoulder carefully not waking her up.

He leaned his head to hers slightly sniffing her relaxing scent and just before he noticed they reached her school,Rindo paid the driver and thought of waking Kaori up but by the thought she's very tired and she have many things to do after this made him not.

He carefully carried Kaori out the car bridal style and when the guard.

He was gonna ask him to call someone but before he could even talk the guard raised his hand and took something before walking to him.

He made him wear a guest I.D and House of Holmes guest I.D since he won't be able to enter without that even though the one he's carrying is the house head.

"Please go ahead this is the house crest of Holmes you should go to the house that have this crest" He instructed him and he immediately nodded after recognizing the crest.

The dorms weren't really far from the gate so immediately got inside but he thought that he'll get more questionable and weird stares but most of the students just minded their business and there aren't much people either.

When he reached the house of holmes a house member welcomed him and opened the doors for him and led him to her room.

"You must be Haitani Rindo-kun right?" The unfamiliar girl whose leading him asked.

He turned a glance to her and nodded "Yes"

She smiled "I see,You're Kaori-nee-san's boyfriend"

He tilted his head to her curiously she didn't even take a glance at him and laughed.

"We haven't met each other yet and I think you're familiar that Kaori-nee have a cousins right?"

"Uh yeah"

She raised her head to him and gave a warm smile "I'm her cousin,My name is Hatake Sana" She introduced that made Rindo kinda shocked.

'Their personality doesn't match though' He thought to him self 'Also Kaori's a bit more snappy and she always looks mad but her cousin is more delightful and smiling' He added.

"Yes because she got her personality from out grandad and probably my dad which is her mom's brother" She answered reading his thought while finally reaching her room.

He gave her a slight surprised look as she opens her door and just before he came in he tried to open his mouth and ask her how did she know what he was thinking.

"Don't wear your thoughts Rindo-kun" She answered before he could even talk that kinda creeped him.

'So almost everyone in this course is also like Kaori and Bishu huh?" He thought before finally entering carefully carrying Kaori.

"Also Rindo-kun if you do weird things to Kaori-nee i'll make sure you don't leave our school alive" She creeping ly chuckled while closing the door.

"Well atleast she like to treat people too" He talked to him self noticing that part of they're personality's.

He turned to Kaori's bed at the floor and carefully placed her and tucked her in the futon,When he assured she's comfortable he roamed his eyes around her room.

It's a japanese style room there's a table at the other corner and a book shelf beside it and a closet if you're gonna ignore her things you'll just notice the bunch of Papers placed below her bed.

There aren't anything special actually just like a normal persons room just somehow filled with books but somehow there's a picture frame above her closet.

He stood up and reached it,It was a group photo of maybe her team mates though they're like in a dark room and only have of they're faces are in the light or seen.

He looked at Kaori who's posing with her back and head slightly tilted letting half of her face be seen beside her was a man sitting with his legs opened and his hands below his chin.

'That's kinda cool' He thought and looked at the next picture it was Aoi in a Watson's Haori behind her was her house.

That photo was taken when she got in the house of Watsons,He then looked at the last picture.

It was in four sections,the first section have a picture of her with the girl that lead him here which is her cousin and a boy that looked exactly like Kaori for some reason and this was probably taken when they were younger he thought.

He was suddenly curious if Kaori had a twin since she told nothing like that to her he shook it of and looked at the 3 square it was the picture Aoi took he remembered.

As he looked at it more it was on they're first anniversary and even though she didn't really want to celebrate it she still agreed,The picture is him and Kaori sitting on his bike driving it with him at the back gripping at her waist even though he clearly remembered that Kaori told him not to.

He let out a happy sigh as he placed the pictures back and sat beside Kaori thinking if he should leave or wait for her to wake up.

He stared at her for a few more minutes before deciding to call his brother that he'll not be home till Kaori wakes up.

This is a rare chance so he might as well cherish it he thought since she looks like she have many things to do after waking up and they'll not see each other again for long.
