TUESDAY

jangmi and jongho were studying in the kim-park library. they had a quiz coming up and decided to be responsible for once and actually study. san went out and bought them coffees a few minutes ago so he should be back with those soon.

jeongin couldn't join the study session, his family was still helping chan and marissa move in. which he was fine with, it meant he got to spend time with his favorite brother, don't tell hyunjin, and bond with his first sister-in-law.

"okay two thirds j squad, here's your drinks" san walked up the library stairs with one americano and one java chip frappuccino. which san and jongho called 'a sugar rush in a cup'.

"thank you" jangmi smiled and took her cup and jongho took his

san smiled and left the library, leaving the younger two to study.

"are those good" jangmi tilted her head, referring to jongho's americano

"you like sweet things so probably not to you" jongho chuckled and tilted his cup toward her "try it though"

"no you said i won't like it" the girl scrunched her nose and backed away

"just try it love, it won't hurt ya" jongho chuckled again.

the girl sighed and gave in, instant regret. jongho laughed loudly at the girls disgusted face. she couldn't spit it out on the carpet so she had no choice but to drink it. she quick reached for her drink but before she could grab it, jongho did.

"jjong!" the girl whined and reached for her cup but jongho only held it higher and laughed harder. the girl got up from her chair, grabbed the boys face and kissed him. both to shut him up and to distract him so she can grab the cup. and it worked.

"you're an ass" jangmi said as she pulled away, then pecked his lips one more time before sitting down and drinking her frappuccino.

"that was... smart. i'm so proud" the boy laughed when he received an unbothered middle finger. to which he grabbed and bit. yes, he bit her finger.

"ew, why can't you be normal and kiss it or something" jangmi joked

"what's the fun in that?" he shrugged "back to studying"

after twenty more minutes, jangmi's phone started buzzing. her mom was calling so she just answered and put it on speaker.

"hey what's up?" jangmi said as she continued to read information from her text book.

"jang, it's your grandpa. he's not doing well-" that all jongho heard before jangmi grabbed her phone and turned off speaker.

it's not the grandpa that her mom has to run away from. that's hina's dad. this is jisoo's dad. jangmi's really close with him and has been since she was little. he was her first and favorite best friend.

"mommy..." jangmi whispered

"he collapsed at work today precious. his boss sent him to the hospital. he's in a coma... but... they don't know if he'll uhm, wake up."
