"i thought you were done with parties?"

"san wants me to go this time around, everyone's gonna be there so" mingi shrugged

mingi was, once again, at seojin's place. just yesterday, san had begged his brother to go to this party with him. and at first, the taller wasn't going to give in. but felix and lia were going. so he's going.

"i won't be able to be there..." seojin said softly. he has a game the same saturday as the party. mingi was going to go, but it was an away game, and a night game. mingi can't drive when he's tired.

"i know, it'll be fine" the taller smiled. he wishes seojin could be there, and he also wishes he could be there for seojin. but the universe doesn't exactly work how they want.

something didn't feel right, to both of them. but ignoring that gut feeling seemed easier than finding a solution.

the older nodded his head and sat back, watching his boyfriend grab a drink from the fridge.

party time, and for some reason, everyone's nerves were high. even san and jisung.

"i don't know, i kinda don't wanna be here..." lia said

"we can leave" mingi reminded her, but she shook her head.

jisung told them there was someone he wanted them to meet. and lia wanted to see who this person was, and why they are so important.

"i wanna meet this person"

felix just sat there and agreed. after some time, jisoo and jisung make their way over with an unfamiliar person.

"hey guys!" jisoo smiled, walking up to the three "this is hyuk, hyuk this is mingi, lia, and felix"

"nice to me you"

hyuk, charming, on the shorter side, but definitely attractive. mingi took in his demeanor. he has a a smile plastered on his face, posture that just screams confidence, and his eyes... were hard to read?

"nice to meet you too!" felix smiles brightly.

"mingi is the smart one we always talk about" jisung nudged this new friend.

mingi sent the shorter a look, why on earth is he being brought up. and why is his only feature his smarts.

"ohhh, nice, i heard you're like a teachers favorite?"

"not sure, don't really pay attention to it" lia notices her best friends reaction to hyuk. or maybe what jisung and jisoo say about him to hyuk. but either way, he's not happy.
