THAT NIGHT

mingi and seojin were in the older's bed, naked, and now completely sober. but then again, as soon as they kissed they became sober. they laid on their backs, the taller's arm under seojin's head as they just stared at the ceiling.

"so, did hyuk say anything about a reschedule?" seojin asked, breaking the ice but it only made the other chuckle

"you really wanna talk about my biological brother after having sex?" mingi laughed

"yeah, you have a point" now they were both laughing a little.

after the laughs they just sat in silence again, the taller hand running through the the older's hair.

"you know we're gonna have to talk about this, right?" seojin whispered, lifting his chin a little to look at mingi's side profile.

"mmh, yeah. we will just... let's relax right now. talking about that kind of shit makes my head spin" mingi chuckled dryly and looked at the shorter.

"why is that?"

he thought for a second. because maybe it's more than just never being in a relationship. maybe it's the fact that he's been his siblings couple therapist since he was ten.

"i don't know. probably because i've been giving my older brothers relationship advice since i was a literal child" seojin snickered at that, 'the king of love' since grade school. could you imagine?

"or maybe because i watch my brothers all be happy in a relationship, hell i've known yeji since we were babies and renjun since my brothers started school. and then one day he just... hurt yeosang. and weirdly enough it hurt our whole family."

mingi has watched his family go through so much. yeosang especially, and even though he's the younger one, he felt protective over him. and now that kyungmi knows renjun's back, he isn't sure what to do. no one does.

"do you think maybe you're scared to fall in love... or just be in a relationship because of that?" seojin asked, now trading roles with mingi. now he's the love therapist.

"maybe it's one of the reasons. i think my reasoning from earlier still stands" it was hard to understand, the whole public figure thing. especially when it comes to relationships. and mingi gets that, sometimes he doesn't understand it either. "can we not talk about this anymore?"

"yeah of course, i'm sorry"

"it's okay. just, not in the mood for that right now"

seojin nods as he leans over and kisses mingi's jaw. "so i was your first right?" the older teased

"yes, now shut up" mingi joked

"you did really good"

"i said shut up~" mingi blushed, making the college student laughed.

maybe this would turn into more. maybe it would stay a dirty little secret. only time will tell.
