The hospital room was filled with flowers.. The perfume was overwhelming.. But not to the tiny but super tough girl laying on the bed.. As she lay there a huge smile appeared on her face. She looked down at the small clear cot, inside there were two bundles.. They were only hours old.. One wrapped in a pink blanket, one in a blue blanket.. Across the other side of the room lay her older sister.. She sat watching her little sister in amazement..
It took her back to a moment a long long time ago.. A time when they were abandoned by their Mother.. A when they banded together to fight off some horrid Nuns.. A time when a little girl of three fell in love with a boy.. She asked him to wait for her.. He had laughed, then disappeared from their life.. But Harleen never forgot about her Joker.. She worked hard at school and graduated with honors from school.. She was the youngest ever to become a psychiatrist for the criminally insane.. Where at her first job in an Asylum. Harleen met up with her Joker again.. She helped him escape, before he left her tied to a shock therapy table.. The same one she had used with him.. "Jade? Jade!" Harley yelled at her.. "Yeah?" Jade said coming back to the present.. "Amy is crying again." Harley said with a giggle.. "Sorry, hello little girl.. What is the matter now my darling?" Jade asked, picking up the very tiny little pink bundle.. "Aint it funny you having your baby the same time as me." Harley said giggling.. "Hey you did one better, you had two.." Jade said giggling.. "When ya gonna tell Tony?" Harley asked.. "Tony Wayne is not getting his hands on my little girl.. Is he, sweetheart?" Jade said as she changed the baby's bottom.. "You are one naughty girl Little Kitten." Harley said giggling.. "Ya can drop the Little now Harley.." Jade replied.. "Why it pisses ya off." Harley said giggling.. "You are lucky you are my sister." Jade said giggling with her..
Just at that moment the two huge men who were guarding the door separated.. In waltzed the man himself.. His green hair shining, his eyes alight with joy.. His long purple jacket flowing out behind him.. He smiled revealing his silver grills to Harley.. "Puddin" Harley squealed.. "Harles." He said to her devouring her with his eyes.. He then went to the cot and touched the two tiny bundles.. "You are amazing, Harley. How ever did you fit two of them in there?" Joker asked, laughing at his own joke.. Jade groaned.. Harley giggled.. He then turned to Jade.. He smiled and looked from her to her daughter.. Then turned back to Harley and made his way to her bedside.. He sat watching her and the twins.. It was as if he could never looking at them even if he wanted to..
Then the Nurse came in to check the babies and Harley.. Joker never moved, he just sat there watching Harley.. "Have ya ever seen two babies so cute?" Harley asked with a little giggle.. "All babies are beautiful my dear." Nurse said.. "Not all babies." Joker said his eyes finding her.. She sucked in her breath.. Oh my god, it's him she thought to herself.. She should have known he would be in here.. Everyone knows he is never far from her side.. Nurse Betty tried to control her hands, but they were shaking badly now.. "Oh Mr J, you scared my Nurse, she is now shaking." Harley said with a giggle.. "Did I?" He asked his silver grills showing as he smiled down at Harley.. "I was just making a statement.. Not all Babies are beautiful.." Joker said his eyes never leaving Harley's.. "No, of course not.. Your own are always perfect." Nurse Betty said.. "No.. No Only Harley is perfect.. They are little pink and blue eating, pooping and pissing machines." Joker said, smiling again at his Harley.. "Mr J!" Harley said giggling.. "Really?" Jade asked from across the room.. "Tell me I'm wrong?" He asked Jade.. "I would, but you are never wrong are you?" Jade replied with a smile.. Nurse Betty looked between the two, she smiled nervously.. Joker began to laugh.. He then turned swiftly to Nurse Betty.. "I think you have done enough, go get the Doctor." Joker said.. "But I.... Yes Sir." Nurse Betty said almost running from the room.. "Oh Puddin, ya got to stop scaring the nurse." Harley said with a smile.. "Why?" Joker asked.. Before Harley could reply, the twins began to cry.. Joker very tenderly picked the little boy up.. "Now why are you crying little JJ?" Joker asked, kissing his head.. The boy stopped crying for a moment, then he realized that he was not going to get any food here.. "For once I don't think you have what he wants Joke." Jade said with a smile.. JJ began to scream again.. "I think he wants me Mr J." Harley said with a giggle.. "Yes." Joker said handing the baby to Harley... He turned to Jade.. "Why are you still here Kitten?" Joker asked.. "I'm waiting for Ivy and Selina to come for me." Jade replied.. "Mr J and I can give you a lift if ya like?" Harley said giggling.. Joker looked at Jade with a smile.. "Are ya willing to take the chance with us Kitten?" Joker asked.. "Thank you Harley.. But I will wait for Selina and Ivy." Jade said smiling.. "We offered." Joker said, turning back to Harley..
