I woke up to the sound to Larry hooting and shouting. I shot straight up growling.

"Get out of the way! Damn kids." he shook his head then noticed me.

"Oh, Morning, sunshine. Sorry for the rude awakening but these kids here are running wild."

I calmed down and wiped my eyes.

"Don't worry, we still got another couple hours before we reach our destination but welcome to River Pack Territory." he said and my eyes widened. I shot to the window and opened it. I stuck my head out and took in everything that flew past my vision. Smiling back at the people who greeted me and laughed when I saw something that made me even more happy than I already was. I grabbed my phone and switched on the camera. Taking a picture with a park in the background I sent it to Mason with the caption 'Honey, I'm home' and waited for his reply. Larry turned up the music on the radio and Break Free by Ariana Grande came blasting through the speakers. I laughed.

"You a fan?" I asked and he nodded.

"Oh yes. I have no choice. My daughter is a sucker for this." I shuffled closer to him.

"You have a daughter? Who is she."

"Yes. Her name is Shila. Angel right there. Looks just like her mom." he smiled and the name jogged something in my mind.

"She's friends with Mason, Seth, Liam and Cassie, isn't she?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yes. How did you know?"

"Trust me, Larry. Everyone who knows Cassie and Mason are bound to meet me at some point." we laughed and he shook his finger at me.

"You, my child, are spot on. I'll stop at this station here so you can freshen up. It's pretty hot here so I suggest shorts be a part of what you're going to wear." I nodded and made sure everything was in my bag for when I got out. My phone vibrated and I unlocked it when I read it was a text message.

I'll tell Cassie you'll be here soon. She's gonna flip. You're arriving earlier than we expected. Its only 9 am. You're about an hour and a half from us. See you soon.

We arrived at the station and I did whatever I needed to. I wonder how Larry lasted driving for so long but then remembered that us wolves can go for long periods without sleeping. Given that Larry did eat along the way; the sugar and energy from the food boosted his ability to last. We left the station after eating and refilling. I was excited to finally hug Cassie and Mason. My start was finally happening.

After a long and excruciating hour and a half - thanks to this territory being so damn big- we finally pulled into the driveway of a huge-ass mansion.

"No way." I breathed and stared at the beautiful mansion in front of me.

"Larry, You said that you were neighbors to Cassie and Mason, right?" i asked and he nodded.

"Yes, and to answer your question yes, I do own a house similar to this. Sligthly smaller. I'm the Third in Command, love." I fell back in my seat.

"Oh you've got to me kidding me." I said and Larry laughed.

"Look, I can definitely see that I've fooled you but they wanted someone powerful to protect you on the journey. The alpha and Beta were busy with something important so I offered to do it." I leaned forward and looked at his jeans and blue t-shirt. I shook my head dumbfounded.

"I dont believe it." I said and he laughed again.

"You'll get use to it. It just goes to show. I still got the ability to disguise myself pretty well."
