Hello there, Angels. Here is the new chapter I promised. Sorry for the seriously long wait. I was finishing off high school for good. Well, here we go...

I burst through the door of the bedroom and slammed the door shut. As soon as I turned the lock in place my emotions unlocked and soon sobs wracked my entire body. I placed my hand over my mouth and squeezed my eyes shut. The image of Alex beaten and bloodied replayed over and over and the more it played the more clear and horrifying it became. Fresh sobs wracked my body once again. I am so sorry, Alex! my mind screamed repeatedly. Voices and moans of pain drifted through the door.

"Place him in this room. The pack doctors are fetching extra supplies for him." Colton's voice rang out. A shout broke through the panicked voices. Alex. He cried out again and I hissed through my teeth. No one deserved what I just did to him.

"What happened to my baby?" Alex's mother shouted.

"It was your Luna, Colton!" His father accused in a strong voice. A growl rang out.

"She had reason to!" Kairo's voice shouted and everyone fell silent.

"What? How could you say that?" Anna shouted, "my son is lying half-dead and it's her fault!"

"Your son rejected her!" two male voices shot back. By the alpha and beta tone I'm guessing it was Colton and Kairo.

"What? That's impossible. My son would never reject his mate. He knows better." Erik protested.

"Oh really? Then why did she run away?" Colton asked irritated.

"What's going on?" Olivia asked. Her voice coming closer.

"Lies, that's what. We've been told lies!"

"Shut it, Anna!" Erik barked and I heard a whimper, "Sorry, Colton. Please explain. This is a serious situation and I'd hate for anything to go from bad to worse from this point onward. It's alpha first."

"Indeed it is. One second." footsteps came closer to the door and a soft knock sounded.

"Ketzia? Baby, open the door." Colton pleaded softly and knocked again. Slowly I got up of the floor, unlocked the door and stepped back. A second after the door was unlocked Colton opened the door and stepped inside. He took one look at my tear-streaked face and his entire posture softened. He opened his arms.

"Oh, Little Wolf." I cried out and flung myself into his embrace. His arms wrapped around my body. Making me feel safe. Like nothing was wrong. After a moment he pulled back a little so that he could peer at me. "Ketzia, I need to to explain what happened. This situation is getting out of hand." a scream pierced the air and I flinched. Colton cupped my face in his hands.

"Look at me. Ketzia, look at me." Slowly I slid my eyes from the door to him. His brown eyes warm and concerned. "Can you do it for me?"

After a minute I nodded. "Yeah, I can. Let me rinse my face off." He placed a kiss on my head before letting me go and leaving the room. I sighed and headed to the bathroom.

What was I going to say? I've kept this hidden from them for a long time. What if they don't believe me? What if they still blame me for what I did. I wouldn't blame them. I went berserk. Well, I guess now was a good a time as any. I leaned down as I rinsed the blood off my face. The sight of blood staining the white marble sink. I rinsed until the water ran clear and turn off the taps. When I looked up I jumped.

"Oh snap!" Gaia stood with a concerned look on her face behind me. I spun around.

"What a busy night it has been." she said with a sad smile.
