Ignoring the looks from my former pack I looked down and opened the folder that was in front of me. Inside was a copy of notes made by Colton. I scanned through the little notes on the side that was titled "Ketzia: Need to Know" which was his way of basically telling me what the important factors of his notes. Following my lead, the rest of my pack opened their folders. I glanced over at Mason's folder and saw a typed out version of my notes. Skipping to Cassie's I saw the exact same thing. I mentally laughed. I knew why he typed theirs out. I knew that their notes wouldn't have extra commentary on it.

Clearing his throat Colton started speaking while I continued to read, "So, this meeting has been called to discuss the rouge problem that has been steadily increasing over the last few months at the Moonstone Pack. Am I right, Erik?" my gaze switched to Alex's father who was sent a quick glance my way before answering.

"That's correct."

"And you want us to send some of our best fighters to train your fighters?"

"Yes." Colton nodded and made some more notes on his note pad.

I was in Luna-Mode so, naturally, I had to put in some input, "If I remember correctly, Moonstone's fighters are quite capable of defending the pack. However, I remember that they do not practice skills beyond a certain point. Am I right, Erik?" The alpha locked eyes with me. Clearly shocked as me addressing him as an equal.

"Y-yes. That's correct..." he stammered.

"Luna Ketzia." I helped with a fake smile and picked up my pen to make some notes. I felt a glare on me and turned to see Alex's glowing blue orbs zeroed in on me. I glared back.

"Is there something wrong, Alexander?" I asked and he shook his head.

"No. Nothing at all." I didn't like the look he was giving me. It made me feel like I was being hunted. Deciding to keep things professional I broke eye-contact and continued asking questions.

On and on we went. Swapping information, discussing tactics. Ideas were presented and then dismissed. Alex was the main person to shoot down every idea Colton and I came up with and though it was not affecting me as much as Alex wished, Colton on the other hand, was becoming furious. He would comment disrespectful comments which I would calmly shoot back with something more effective. That would shut him up until his next opportunity came. Colton had ignored it at first but as soon as it became personal the reactions that Alex wanted came out. I reached over and gripped his hand in mine and rubbed my thumb across his knuckles. Slowly his breathing went back to normal and the darkness faded from his eyes. He turned and gave me a loving smile. I returned it.

"Okay, here's what's going to happen." I announced sternly having enough testosterone for one night. Alex was starting to piss me off as well. He was making Colton angry and I didn't want to deal with him hauling a broken down tree and hacking into it with an axe.

I faced the visiting pack, "You came into my home asking for help. Help that only we can give you." Alex opened his mouth to speak again but I cut him off effectively, "Don't bother denying it, Alexander. We're the best and you know it. You're just too stubborn to realize it." He closed his mouth with a shocked expression. His blue eyes widened along with the rest of the pack. I had confronted a male alpha. And it's about damn time too.

" You think my pack got to where they are now by just training in the basics? No. We kept going and training until there is nothing left to learn at that time and prepare for the best in the future. The River Pack, I admit, may not know everything, but we've learned from the past. We've identified weak spots and mistakes and developed strategies which helps us to not make those same mistakes again and made our weaknesses strong." I stood up and looked at every person in this room. My pack lifted their heads and sat up straight, recognizing their Luna.
